I had a feeling an alolan starter might be added. My SO didn't believe me because "there are already too many Pokémon fighters".... oh man, people who aren't Pokémon fans are going to be so mad (can't say I blame them, it's kind of true.)

Missed opertunity: we have a water and fire starter in smash, would have been perfect if they added Decidueye. I get why they chose incinroar though.

I wish Mew and Celebi could have been fighters. But I’m not disappointed. Can’t wait to get the game.

Thanks for the ideas, I like them, but sadly, none of them fit the theme of my RP. The main feature in the RP is Yokai Pokemon, which can only be seen with a special Pokedex, otherwise, nobody can see them. The professor of the region gives you said Pokedex, and asks you to help him research Yokai Pokemon. I had a bit of an idea where every once in a while, when you've defeated enough trainers and/or registered a certain number of Pokemon in your Pokedex, you get an Advancement Test, where you battle a strong trainer, and if you defeat them, you get a piece of a map that leads you to the secret location of the Pokemon League.

There were a couple of deleted posts that had nothing to do with Pokemon. If you don't think the warning was about you, you've probably nothing to worry about.

Oh, Decidueye would have been very cool. I feel like it's anthro enough to have been viable imo? So that's a bit of a shame. But yeah I see why they did incineroar too - much more... smash-y.

Re: PoGo I'm still on the first set of Halloween quests, but their tweet said you didn't have to finish them before Halloween ended, just start them, so I'm hopeful I'll still manage to pick up a spiritomb!! Sucks for those of you guys who can't play it - I'm disabled and am in a similar boat so I mostly only get to play the few times I go out for a drive with my mother haha.

Btw, I have two extra North American Zeraora codes from gamestop (Only works on NA consoles) if anyone needs one (pm me for it). Please only ask if you can't go to a gamestop yourselves and don't yet have one.

But aaa I'm hyped. Let's go is getting closer to releasing! I can't wait to have my own switch. it's even themed after my favorite Pokémon, Eevee. It's mildly annoying I have to wait for it to ship to my house though. My local gamestops weren't taking preorders for pickup... i'm not really sure what their reasoning was for it, maybe to stop scalpers? I live close to their warehouse so I should get it within a few days at least.

I'm also looking forward to playing through the game with my 7 yr old niece on Co-op mode. She's going to love that team rocket is in it.

You can call and ask gamestop, they don't mind answering simple questions. I "think" it's a week though but I'm not sure.

Edit: Nvm they hold it for 48 hours. If you need it held a little longer maybe you can call and ask them if they could extend it. I doubt they would mind if you already have it payed off and will just be a day late.

Regardless I doubt they run out of the pokeball remotes so soon after release. Most parents aren't going to spend 60$ on a game and then another 50$ for an accessory that works with only one game. Kind of why I hope they eventually either release a wifi event mew or allow mew to be transferred from the GO app. It's not fair some kids won't be able to get mew because of the stupid remote.

They don't? Weird, must be a new thing they are doing? My SO who usually preorders hasn't bought anything from gamestop since switching to PC. I already paid off my switch bundle but that's being shipped to my house.

You could ask to transfer the preorder to a gamestop near your family's house? Or again ask if they could extend the time they hold it for you? Gamestop employs are usually gamers as well so they're nice about answering questions.
