the process of forgetting you has been long, and difficult. i lie awake at night letting myself imagine one thing about you that i wish could happen, because if i let myself imagine scenario nothing would come true. i truly hope we can become friends, because you're a cool guy and we'll be seeing a lot of each other anyways in the months to come. you probably have a crush on emma and i'm ok with that. i just want you to know that i'm always gonna be here until you graduate, and although any feelings for you are still here just know by the time you might return those feelings you'll have missed out.

Dear Austin.
I think of you and what happened daily. I think of how I could have prevented it and how things could have changed. After you came here and we got together we were fine for the week. It quickly went down hill when I broke up with you because I lost feelings. I knew I shouldn't have dated you because of that. You were the first person I have ever loved. Despite that, whenever I wanted to stay friends you got more and more irritable with me and eventually blocked me over something so small that I hardly remember what happened. Since then I have realized something; If you could remove me from your life over me just asking you to not talk to me at that moment, maybe you didn't care as much as I thought you did, maybe you didn't care as much as you thought you did. I'm never going to forget how you made me feel, how we met on mINE CRAFT OF ALL PLACES, how we would stay up all night talking on discord till we finally got off as the sun rose, how you bought me a webcam so we can video chat and you stayed up when watching movies just to look at me, how we would play games while we playfully teased each other. I'll never forget you. I'm sorry that when you recently tried to add me back I ignored it. I realized that you were toxic and a bad influence in my life. I realized how mean I became when around you. I hope you have moved on, and I hope I do too. Thank you for bearing with me for so long.

Dear Store Clerk,

No, I cannot leave a message. Phone calls are difficult for me. I cannot hear the message that tells me what information to leave. I can barely hear you in person when I came in without having to ask you to repeat yourself 5+ times. No, I'm not deaf, I actually have sensitive hearing. I just can't distinguish sounds from one another. Yes, I get it seems quiet to you right now, but I can hear the wind blowing, the rain hitting the window, the cars driving past outside, car doors opening and closing, the water rushing through the pipes in the walls, the breathing of all the people, the buzzing of the electricity, the fans, my own heartbeat, and you drumming your fingers impatiently.
