I apologize if this has been answered, I looked around and couldn't seem to find anything about this.

I used to have a thread on the trading section of the forums, I was slightly inactive for a few months but now I can't find it at all. It's almost like the entire thing was deleted, not locked. I can't find it in my history, I can't find it through advanced search, and I'm not sure what to do ;;

I don't want to make a new thread just in case it's there- I just wanted to see if it had been deleted or if I could still find it. It's just gone, which I find weird :')

Hello! I hope this helps shed some light on your worries.

All Auction or Trade threads that go unused or rather, those that are inactive for three months or more are automatically deleted. The CS Trade Forums gets a lot of threads and a lot of traffic so the site automatically "cleans up" any unused or abandoned threads to make room for new ones.

If you find yours has been deleted, you are free to make a new Thread to replace the one you are missing.
Just be sure to bump it every now and then if you don't want it deleted again. Or if you want to save the information you have on there, copy and save it on your computer just in case you forget and it gets deleted again.
