I wanted to do this last time, but ran out of time. While I have a little bit before I gotta leave, I'll get to it this time.
This is my newest Viscet, Dakota.
(Setting is fantasy/medieval)
She's a young viscet, around 11-12. She never knew her dad and her mother struggled to care for the two of them before she was stricken by illness and eventually died. Dakota hates anything to do with her father, even though she doesn't even know who he is. While she loves her mother to death, and any slight comment about her could get someone punched or attacked, even if it may not have been negative. She's a young thief who fancies herself a 'gang' leader. Though most of the street kids are just too scared to go against her. She treats the boys like her family and they treat her like any other boy on the street. She's never treated like an actual girl...She prefers it that way. Tough, boyish, rough, sneaky, she has a very large head and fancies herself the greatest thief in town. Which, some of what she says may hold weight, since even the wealthier folk seek her out to snatch things from rivals. She's made it apparent, as well, that she is not to be double-crossed. She can make ones life a living hell, should they cross her. She's not educated, so she can't read and write, however, she's very well versed in math...gotta count the coin, after all. Some people have tried to take advantage of her lack of smarts and short her...
I'm looking for other street kids, perhaps a couple of people to 'foster' her. Or try to. Basically a place she could go if she really needed to feel safe. She wouldn't stay forever, as that kinda life just isn't for her. I'm also looking for a possible Rival (Kid/teen) gang that she could struggle against. And lastly...A boy who treats her like a girl. I imagine a boy, whether he is a villager or just an occasional visiting merchant's kid or something...but I'd like a crush (just a crush, I imagine her as a kid, so nothing serious.) to develop between her and someone who treats her like a 'girl'. (Such as giving her flowers, pretty things, perfumes...) It's just a cute idea of her punching her fellow gang mates cause they say she has a crush on someone...or even the shock they might feel when they see her blush when offered a flower. (She's boyish, so they don't imagine her doing such things.)
Anyway. Offers for friends and rivals are very welcome.
