Corrine walks past the townspeople mulling about, looking for a shoppe of some sort. No luck. Maybe there was a local small shoppe instead of a mart here? She starts asking around for help.

“Why Ello there mam’ I happened to overhear you’ve been looking for a shop?” The gentleman tipped his hat to you. “The names Alex”

Corrine nods, smiling a bit. "Y-Yeah! Yes. I'm Corrine." Maki yowls her name happily and Ekko waves. "And these are Makhina and ekko. We wanted to buy some food for our trip to the city (What region is this? XD)."

After a couple of minutes of running, you came to a stop... it was a... village? You were of course confused, the map didn't say anything about a village here... and judging from its buildings that was mainly made up of stone, bamboo, hay and wood... it seems like a kind of old-ish village, there are of course humans too, with native clothing and pokemon with similar clothes.

Azalie looked around in surprise then at her map and back at the village,"Umm do you know where we are Apollo?" she asked. The fire pokemon just shrugged, seemingly just as lost as his trainer was then jumped down from her shoulder and ran towards the village with the red haired young woman fallowing after. When they reached the edge of the village it took a little while before Azalie finally spoke up to ask one of the villagers "Um excuse me but I think I'm lost, can you tell me what village this is?".

It watched you as you slowly come forward, The pokemon climbed down the tree and took your hat (If you don't have a hat, then an accessory) It wore it and laughed.

I laughed at the look of the small creature with my hat on, not bothered by them taking it. I take out another Pokéball, thinking that it was distracted enough to let me catch it. I take a breath, throwing the ball at the Pokémon and hoping to catch it.

The pokemon was sucked into the silver and red sphere, it wiggled once... then twice... The ball opened and the pokemon came out! It took a battle stance, it seems like it isn't willing enough to be captured... perhaps you could battle it with your new pokemon?

Alexis looked a bit defeated after the Pokémon not being captured. Reacting almost immediately, she took out the Piplup's ball and opened it. She crouched down to it and said; "Think you can help me out here?"

Adair smiled slightly before she sighed in relief, eyes eagerly watching the interactions between the two bird pokemon. It was nice to watch, Callisto had peeked her head around shyly with a curious look on her face which Adair had to admit was adorable and also settled a few worries about the piplup who had shown signs of fear moments ago. She noted the small pidgey probably had a brave nature or perhaps jolly? Not many wild Pokémon would help out a traveller they didn’t know but it didn’t really matter, she was just happy for it’s cooperation. She scooted away from the pair to open her pack and proceed to scavenge around for berries. She grinned as she found them in a side pocket and offered one to the pidgey and another to piplup.
