I just watched this. It is a lot to take in! I love the moments where Toothless has to go fetch hiccup's leg from down in the forest like a dog. I for find some gifs for a few moments of the scenes they have. I am super hyped now! There is so much packed into the trailer! We must talk about it! Does anyone notice there is another bewilderbeast in the trailer? It even looks like the one from the previous movie that Drago had! The right tusk is broken! There are two light furies as well, in the lower section below where Toothless is standing. This happened in 2:03 of the trailer!

With all these hints about them going their own ways, I really hope they're just red herrings. I won't be able to bear it if they make them split up! Ideally they all just pack up and move into the hidden dragon world. That'd explain the ending they're going for (they want to go back to the books and the whole "when I was a boy, there were dragons in our world") because the dragons would effectively be hidden from the world, while still keeping Hiccup and Toothless together.

oh yesss I noticed the bewilderbeast! I'm really glad we got to see it again, even as a quick cameo - just to show that it's still out there. i'm glad it's alive and that it got away from Drago. and i'm also really happy there are more light furies? I like the fact that toothless is the last of his kind, but having the last night fury fall in love with the last light fury would feel too cliche - I think having one night fury but still plenty of light furies is a good compromise. the light fury was honestly the thing i was most worried about going into this movie, but so far I'm impressed with how they've handled her. i'm really happy.

My personal guesses regarding the hiccup/toothless situation are that they are going to split up and say goodbye, but it won't be the last time they see each other. The line in the new trailer where hiccup says "you're right bud. it's time" definitely seems like they're leaving each other, but the shot in the first trailer with bearded hiccup is pretty reassuring to me because toothless is still there. so... we'll see, I guess.
