"Well, the storm didn't get it, but there was a fire and that did.' he said with a soft chuckle, "So guess I will be getting a hotel to stay in."

[Boomer]

"Man, talk about bad luck..." she sighed, shaking her head. She then looked to Alessa for a moment. "You're welcome to stay here." she said, "This house is massive... there's a room that you can stay in."

"Are you sure? I know you already have three new guests, I don't want to make things harder." he said softly as he listened to her.

[Boomer]

"I'm positive." she confirmed, "Mare would say the same thing. She'd give everyone in the city a room if she could." Maria opened the door, then picked up Alessa. She carried the pup downstairs. Alessa was quite tired from using her power. After setting Alessa in her bed, Maria shut the doors. "Well, what do you say?" she asked.

"I guess I can, at least for a night or two, thank you Maria, I will see you later." he said warmly, "Relax and stay safe." he told her before he hung up.
Max came up shortly with a sleeping Max, he looked over at Alessa and Maria, "Thank you." he said softly.

[Boomer]

"For as long as you need, not just a night." she said, "I will... you too, I'll see you later." She then looked to Max and nodded. "No problem." she said, "I think Mare got your rooms set up." Mary got off the couch, then walked to the group. "If you'd rather share a room, that's fine." she said quietly, "I figured you and Matthew would want separate rooms." She then headed upstairs and waited for Max to follow.

Max nodded as he followed, holding the pup, "Good thing the house is big." he said softly, "Thank you for this, really." he said as he looked at her, he didn't know what he'd do without them as friends.

[Boomer]

"We always planned on having a large family, so we added on a few rooms." said Mary softly. She took them towards the end of the hallway; Max's room was the fourth room on the left while Matt's room was the third room on the right. "The linens are clean." she added, guessing that they wanted to sleep soon. Mary then dipped her head. "It's no trouble at all." she said, "I couldn't let you and the pups be homeless when we have plenty of space to have you stay. Don't worry about moving out in three days, you're welcome to stay for as long as it takes."

He nodded as he looked over at her, "Thank you." he said softly, he was really worried about all this, he laid Matt in bed in his room before looked at Mary, "Could you put Alessa to bed?" he asked softly as he looked over at her, he wanted to, but he knew he was too drained right now.

[Boomer]

"You're welcome." she replied, watching him put Matt to bed. Mary then glanced towards the stairs for a moment. "I believe Maria already got her into bed." she answered, "I'll check up on her before I go to bed, just to make sure she isn't in pain."
