Matt nodded a little, he looked at Alessa, "Want to go back to your room?" he asked softly as he gave her a light smile.

[Boomer]

"I really want to take a bath..." said Alessa softly. Maria nodded, then moved towards them. "Matt, can you hold Eileen please?" she asked, "I'll take Alessa upstairs for her bath."

Matt looked over at Maria, "I can." he said, he wanted to help his sister, he hugged her, "It might feel strange." he told her before they vanished and appeared in the upstairs bathroom, where he was holding her as he stood in the bathroom, he gently set her on the closed toilet seat, he turned on the hot water for her, "Is this okay? I want to help you, this is what siblings do, right?" he asked her.

Maria held tightly onto Eileen as the kids disappeared. She then went upstairs to find them in the bathroom. Alessa was a bit startled, but she didn't react too badly. "I... I t-think so..." said Alessa slowly, still a bit shocked. Maria stepped into the bathroom and stared at Matt. "I didn't think you could do that..." she said quietly, "S-still, Mare or I should get her into the tub, that way she doesn't get hurt."

Matt looked at her, and then Alessa, his ears dropped sadly, "I am sorry." he said softly, he getly took Eileen from Marie and walked downstairs with the baby, he had wanted to help, but he guessed he hadn't really thought it through.

[Boomer]

"It's okay!" called Alessa, feeling bad that Matt was upset. Maria got Alessa into the bath, then went downstairs. She followed after Matt. "Thank you for getting her upstairs." she said, "That was probably the least painful way to move her."

Matt shrugged as he held Eileen, "I just wanted to help, I don't think she feels like my sister and I just want to be a good brother and make her happy." he said.

[Boomer]

"You are a good brother, you just need to give her time." said Maria gently, "Alessa wasn't around a lot of kids when she was little... no friends that came over or any friends at school. She just has to get used to other kids closer to her age. But you're doing great." She patted his shoulder, then looked to Eileen as the pup fell asleep.

Matt handed her Eileen back, "I hope she becomes less scared." he said softly as he looked at Maria, "How can I help her though?" he asked.

Maria carefully took Eileen, not wanting her to wake up. "Be patient..." she said, "That's the best thing you can do. Remember, you can't make someone like you. They have to come around and decide on their own. I think Alessa likes you, but she just has to learn how to interact with you. If you had a baby brother or sister, you'd have to learn how to interact with them too."
