There isn't a set starting date for our Halloween event, so it's a slightly different date each year c:
We aren't told beforehand, but the last years' dates were as follows:

2009: October 22
2010: October 19
2011: October 17
2012: October 20
2013: October 25
2014: October 17
2015: October 23
2016: October 21
2017: October 21

Personally I'd guess that it will likely start around the next weekend (so between the 19th and 21st), but your best bet is to just hop on once a day to check the news. That way you'll see immediately if it has started.
