could it be that Google play doesn't have the newest updates yet? I tried deinstalling and reinstalling the game for the new updates but also when looking at the description on Google play it says that the last update was on 07/07/2018

because the first version didn't have a z in the url (the version where the pet was just a still image). it looks like the last update was oct 13 (woo spooky), but if it's still looking dodgy let me know!

hmmmm perhaps you missed the update email? I noticed quite a few of the original testers weren't updating to the animated version! is the version you're playing still the super old one?

The new version is a separate app, does that mean that I need to Mae an entirely new account and will that make me lose all my petz?

it's a separate app so you'll need to make another account, which won't effect your other account. ^^ and no worries, ask away! if you've got any other questions let me know!

also as one of the few original testers, do let me know what you think of this version vs the older one, and what stuff could be improved (other than adding more species, which I really wanna do but takes time)!

it's a separate app so you'll need to make another account, which won't effect your other account. ^^ and no worries, ask away! if you've got any other questions let me know!

btw we finally found the iOS loading screen bug, so a patch is coming this week! ^__^
this is the last week to join closed beta, we're closing off signups after this update since we're prepping for public beta. so if you wanna test and give opinions, sign up for the next update! link on front page.
