the coyote lay in her cage, she was feeling a bit uncomfortable, she tried to hide it but her leg was actually very painful and she couldn’t put any weight on it but she didn’t want the humans to come back, she didn’t like any of the other animals either, they were all prey to her anyway, she growled.

after mentioning her name to the cat xena forgot about the new cat and ran over when she heard tawny’s name. “tawny?” She whined softly, sticking her snoot right against the cage bars. she smacked the cage door open and rested her muzzle next to the rat. she looked down sorrowfully at the quiet tawny, “what’s wrong?” she murmured.

Author woke up to the rattling of his cage door as he was lifted out side. He looked around side to side. He saw dogs trying to escape getting adopted and a flood of people. All of this was putting pressure on him. He didn't know what to do. Author backed up to the back of his cage as fear and confusion shinned in his eyes. He looked up as a huge banner was above him as it waved wildly in the wind. Author looked at the dogs trying to escape."G-guys. Why are you trying to run!?" Author asked. Fear shook in his voice. He just woke up and almost every emotion was hitting him at once. But panic stood out the most. He tried to look happy. He waved his tail wildly but not because of joy. To try to grab attention. He felt like it was the first day at the dog show. He was scared and crippled but the crowed cheered. All because of his masking of emotion and forcing his tail to wag wildly. Author stuck his tongue out and put his paws on the front of his cage and began to wag it wildly. If you looked into his eyes for abit you could see the fear and confusion in them.

Dawn looked at Lola."Lady mean. She squeeze. There." Dawn said pointing her foot at the lady leaving the area. She was still pretty furious. Dawn flapped her wings and squawked loudly.

Meria laid in her bed. She twitched her ear when her cage door rattle."Look at her. Shes beautiful. I'm sure comet would love her." A lady said. Its been awhile since Meria heard those words. She sat up and looked at them as she moved her fur. She let out a soft purr. The lady tapped her cage and went over to Amelia."Are you the owner?" The lady asked. Meria licked her paws and began to fix her fur."Will i finally find a nice home." Meria said. She was excited but she wasn't gonna get her hopes up yet.

Brad rushed over. He lout out a sharp gasp."Its okay Tawny." Brad said is a soft calm tone. He turned to Amelia."Ill start taking care of her." Brad said. He grabbed Tawny's Cage and began to walk to his office.

Jake watched from the inside of a cat condo as Tawny was carried away by Brad. He hoped she'd be alright. She was definetley liked by the other animals at the shetler. Though worry was visible on Jake's face, he didn't want to talk to anyone who was a closer friend of hers. He wasn't very good at reassuring others in tough situations.

The rat looked around, somebody was moving her cage! She moved her head to see Brad, the vet. She sighed and put her head down again. ''I hope he can make me better...'' she mumbled softly before trying to fall asleep, she realized how cold is was out in the open, she struggled to get up, but when she did, she crawling to her hide, which took a lot of effort. Finally, she fell asleep.

xena followed quietly behind Brad, she wasn’t going to let the rat out of her sight. she strolled behind him silently, making sure her claws wouldn’t hit the surface. she had picked up one of tawny’s comfort blankets (?) and was carrying it with her. they reached the door and she wasn’t sure if she should burst in after him or sneak in.
