i keep seeing everyone mention foxgloves and i think theyre mentioning me but its the plant lol. but foxgloves are just so pretty and hardy and i just love them with every part of my soul aha

i have 2 great northern beans growing in my yard, and some succulents! I feed them water, sometimes tea, and epsom salts! One of my beans already have a bean growing off of it! My succulents have babies growing off them, too! They are thriving awesomely C:. They love their diet.

welcome faf! i love foxgloves and bluebells too, foxgloves especially - they're so pretty but so incredibly resilient too, such lovely plants and i love seeing them pop out in the funniest places in our garden.

also omg yeah, succulents love throwing up babies all over the place haha, i remember the first time one of my plants produced a pup i was so excited and proud! (the 20th time wasn't nearly as exciting...) Also oh man! I have a plant called Boris too (mine's a sarracenia pitcher plant though!). i've never heard of that kind of sansevieria before but its incredibly pretty, grats!!


welcome fable! i've never heard of pumpkin stems being someone's favourite plant, is there anything that particularly draws you to them? (they do have super pretty leaves!!)

Thanks for the welcome! Ohh, your Boris sounds awesome! Love pitcher plants, though I think I’d struggle to raise one successfully. Yep, kinda getting a bit bored of all the aloe pups now. I’m glad they’re happy and healthy, but please stop springing up pups all the time. Running out of pots to put them in.

Hah, aloes are about the only succulents I have raised successfully! Hoping my sansevieria does well.

i was checking out some of my mom's plants and found a succulent she got 3 years ago, it was starting to die but i found 4 pups on it that my mom had no idea existed lmao, so now i have some baby succulents. i haven't owned any succulents for a looong time, so i'm happy to have some little ones now c:

Have you tried youtube? usually when i buy a new plant it's the first place I go to in order to find out more. There are quite a few channels dedicated to succulents, orchids and various other houseplants. I've never checked but maybe there are channels dediated to tree identification too?

@Foxxgloves: Try to just go for a walk, take ID photos of a few plants that look interesting, and then read up on them when you get home. Identifying species is a lot of fun and learning about the plants in your own area is a great place to start!
