Help With Adoptable Species

Hey there;
If you are taking over an adoptable species that has previously belonged to a different user, both you and the former owner will need to send in a help ticket with a so-called Ownership Contract.
After staff have received the contract from both of you, they can switch over ownership of any existing threads to the new owner, of (if you wish) help you with locking thrads that are no longer needed.

Ah, that makes it a bit more difficult, but in any case it is something that regular users can't actually help you with, so I'd still advise you to send in a help ticket and explain the situation, so that staff can decide what's to be done^^
It's up to staff to decide it it's okay for you to continue the species without contract, and nobody else would be able to lock/change the threads for you.
