species concept? name help!!

    might make this into an official species, but I have no idea what to name it

    they're closely related to geckos, and are small enough to fit in your hand. they are though, extremely venomous and dangerous if they're hostile. they have sharp claws for climbing. they have small bob tails, though longer tails aren't uncommon. they have big ears that help them hear. very bad eyesight.

Maybe something like,,

Their name has dragon in it? E.x. jungle dragons ( are those a thing cause they sound familiar )

Most of my species names are either different languages or
Just some weird word
Or
