Honestly no matter whether the ending is happy or sad (or bittersweet, which is what i think is most likely) I know I'm going to be so emotional, just because of the fact that it's over. like... ive been looking forward to this movie for YEARS and once it's finally here and once it's finally over, it's going to be so surreal.

I am happy that they're bringing the whole franchise to an end with this movie though. i'd so much rather have an incredible finale than have a bunch of spinoffs and sequels that just decrease in quality until it's totally dead. I have a ton of respect for the httyd creators for really sticking to that ending, considering it's such a huge and popular franchise.

Wholeheartedly agree, Noni. I hope they do another show, maybe, like they did RTTE, but some franchises should end on a high note and just be left alone after that. The movie does look spectacular, though, and it'll definitely be a high note for the HTTYD fandom.

oh gosh yes, i'm SO excited. it's still honestly so surreal. this trilogy means so so much to me, and the fact that the final film is only a few months away... it's bittersweet, but i'm so excited.

Oof, I've been living the hype behind the scenes, if you will.
I'm excited and saddened at the same time, because httyd means a lot to me on like... A spiritual level.

I haven't really watched many of the trailers, but I did see kiddo Hiccup, and it makes my heart so, so happy. It's the cute I never knew I needed.
