Viscet 2791~Serpentine Legendary Tryout

Postby RadioactiveRenegade » Fri Oct 05, 2018 10:39 am

This is my tryout form for the legendary serpentine viscet! I hope I win him as snakes are my favorite reptiles, but if I don't win I'm glad that someone else will be happy! I just hope everyone has fun!

The Stories

Postby RadioactiveRenegade » Mon Oct 08, 2018 5:57 pm

Everyone has heard of the Voodoo Master. He lives in a treehouse in the middle of the bayou. His best friends are the shadows that lurk in the alleys, waiting to sieze his next victim. His minions are the rats, the snakes, and the crows always hovering near. His most trusted and reliable minion is a green tree boa, named Seria, whom he save from nearly drowning in the bayou. She had been weak from traveling through the bayou, trying to escape frog and snake hunters. His twisted smirk is enough to send chills up and down your spine. He often travels out of the bayou in search of new targets to practice his voodoo skills. A potion can turn you into a horrifying creatures. A spell could drive you insane. His best skill is the art of voodoo dolls. He makes the fool and can make you do his evil bidding. Being a Voodoo Master is fun, but often times lonely. Whenever he gets tired of doing his voodoo he will head to the closest town, and he will practice fortune telling.

Voodoo once saw a little girl in his magic pot. She was crying and all alone. Without hesitating, he sent his minions to collect all the necessary elements to create a doll of the girl. The shadows and creatures quickly did as they were asked. After creating the doll Voodoo used it to bring the little girl to his tree house, and kept a close eye on her to make sure no harm came to her. He didn't want the little girl to be harmed, he just wanted a friend. The little girl made the long trek, the shadows following close behind. They were curious about what Voodoo could possibly want with such a useless human. Upon the little girls arrival he set out some cookies, and set out some normal dolls for her to play with. The little girl didn't seem frightened by Voodoo. In fact, it was quite the opposite! She walked over to him, pointed, and simply said, "soft." Voodoo curiously tilted his head. Without hesitation or fear, the little girl plunged her small fingers into his fur. Caught off guard by the action he gently swatted at her hand with his tail, rattling the end of his tail. The girl looked up at him, and touched the scales along his jaw. Voodoo looked into the girl's eyes. They swirled with a mixture of excitement and curiosity. Voodoo decided to lay down and let the small child pet him. The girl giggled happily, causing Voodoo's ears to twitch. She ran her digits through his fur. Voodoo enjoyed the girl's touch. It was calming. He started drifting off with a yawn. Before he closed his eyes he noticed she had a name spalled out on a beaded bracelet. It said 'Melody.' He smiled to himself, deciding he would keep the girl around as long as he could, but would send her home before it got too late. He wanted to be her friend, not hold her hostage.

Later in the evening, Voodoo reluctantly carried the girl back into town. He held into her as he stood infront of the glass door to the police station in the town that he found her in. Once the police saw him, he set her gently on the ground and took off. He watched until he was sure that she was safely with her parents. Voodoo headed home, the only thing on his mind was the girl, Melody.

For many years he would use her doll to bring her to his home, but eventually the way there was committed to memory. As the girl grew older and started High School, her visits became less frequent. Then a few short years later, she was off to college. Although Voodoo was sad to see her go, he was proud of who she had become. The day she left for college, she came to say goodbye. She gave him a hug, a single tear sliding down her face. Voodoo walked to the old doll he had made of her, and gave it to her as a parting gift so that she wouldn't forget him. The girl smiled sadly and bid him farewell.

For the first few months after Melody left, Voodoo was sad and found himself in a bit of a slump. It took time, but eventually he was back to his old self again. He made potions, but this time they were made for helpful purposes. Every day Voodoo would check in on Melody to see how she was doing. He was happy when she was having fun, furious when she was heartbroken, and sad when she was homesick. It always made him giddy when she would hold the doll he had gifted to her. It gave him hope that maybe one day he'd see her again.

Eight agonizingly long years later, while in the midst of making a potion, Voodoo heard a knock on his door. Curious as to who was visiting him, he opened it. There stood Melody, a smile on her face, and a certificate in her hand. She had graduated and passed her pharmaceutical exam. She was a certified pharmacist now. Voodoo, unable to contain his excitement at seeing Melody, began hopping around the room. He ran up to Melody and stared her in the eyes, guaging all of the emotions swirling behind them. Love, longing, happiness, but most of all the feeling of being home. Melody smiled, pointed at him, and simply spoke a single word, "soft." Voodoo rested his head on her hand, rattling his tail happily. She smiled and hugged him tight. She set her bags down in a spare room. Voodoo was curious about what she was doing until he realised that she wanted to stay. Forever. This made him even happier and he brought out some cookies. He would have his friend forever. She was his Melody.

It's kind of plain, but it's supposed to be his eyes peeking through steam over his cauldron as he mixes a potion.
