the carnotaurus is a south american theropod of the late cretaceous. one of its most popular depictions is from Disney's Dinosaur (2000), though this inaccurately depicted them as much more heavy-bodied while in reality they are thought to have relied on incredible speed and little agility. two oddities of them are their crest and oddly flexible elbows, neither of which have known purpose nor resemble traits found in animals today. it is possible that their arms had colorful feathers and were waved around for mating displays.
it's been a long and winding trip
and who'da thought it'd come to this
the end of days, a cosmic kiss
hold your breath and hold on tight
hunker down, try not to cry
tell the critters that you love
that you love them, that's enough
cause there's no stopping what's to come
some stuff's just etched into the stars
calamities you can't outrun
and when, sweet earth, we finally meet
the sky will burn and boil and sea
as mountains rend, it's you and me
here at the end of history
