Jinx - β
- Pansexual - deer/centaur - shaman - location: around Mother Tree - tags: EnyaA chi-chi perched on Jinxβs horns as she laid in a clearing of forest near the mother tree, finishing a violin she had carved from a tree that had fallen in a storm. She was just now adding a few decorative leaf and vine illustrations with her knife before pocketing the blade and testing the instrument out. Just as she touched the string with that of the bow, a beautiful but mellow tune played from it. Jinxβs eyes fluttered shut until she finished the short sound, moving her arms to wield her weapon both quickly and slowly when each movement was needed. The strange bird seemed to cluck quietly in response, though both of their music stopped when she heard the arrival of hooves.
Jinx opened one eye to watch where the steps were coming from, completely frozen where she lay. In a way she imitated a normal deer in the fact that they just stop and stare, but the shaman knew enough to know that there was no danger. This was proven when the other centaur got close enough to actually recognize. Enya was a healer, Jinx recalled as she saw her face. It wasnβt uncommon for other centaurs to come this way, but the half-horse seemed to hold some purpose in her step and Jinx was curious. βYou seem like youβre going off for something.β She commented, opening her second eye at this point.

Sagittarius - β
- Pansexual - horse/centaur - defender - location: Falling Spring - tags: Rocky, Dante, Kasper, anyone else near the Falling Spring, openSagittarius had been settled down on the rocky edges of the water, lazily glancing at the younger centaurs every once in a while to make sure no one was injured. There seemed to be a few older centaurs in the water too, but they were far enough away from the actual waterfall to see. Because of that, the white furred centaur figured that he could take a quick break to head over to his favourite tree- which happened to be only a short walk from where he was now.
The man got to his hooves after pushing up his human torso from leaning on a larger boulder. Surveying the other side of the thinner part of the stream, the half-horse turned himself around to give him a larger take-off area before charging. The charge was quick and purposeful, keeping up until the last dry pebble that Sagittarius kicked off of to land on the other side. He couldnβt help but grin as his gait slowed to a trot; it had been an impressive length of ground he had jumped, after all, and now he was closer to the tree he had carefully grown through the years.
It was an apple tree, which he had planted when he had first woken up in this forest. From a palmful of seeds it had turned into a glorious plant, growing higher from the ground every day. Sagittarius held a fondness for it ever since he had started using his starlight magic to help it survive even under the shade of he other trees. It was an added bonus that it produced the sweetest apples he had ever tasted too, though he might be biased since it was also the first real apple he had tried. In any case, now that he had arrived at its roots, he stared up at the lowest fruit on the tree. Even with the added height of being an actual centaur, it was still barely out of his reach. Sagittarius huffed out a small sigh as he stood on his hind legs and reached out with his arm, finally pulling an arrow from his quiver and pushing it up with enough force to stab the apple.
Pulling the arrow back, Sagittarius took a bite of the apple-kebab and turned back to return to his spot on the shore.
(continuing where this leaves off a bit)
Sagittarius turned himself around after examining the tree once more. The coming winter likely didnβt mean anything good for it, and the centaur dearly hoped against its death. It meant more to him than a normal tree, just as the centaurs protected the magic flowers.
He finished the apple off in a few more bites as he hopped back onto the little rock island in between the two ledges of land in the stream, tucking himself into a sitting position that took up a smaller amount of space than a horse could normally take up. Now left only with the core, he launched it into the sky with enough force and combined power to make it disintegrate mid-air like a shooting star.

Alexander - βοΈ - bisexual - Icelandic horse/centaur - shaman - location: woods around mother tree - tags: KristianThe centaur froze when he felt another pair of eyes on his back, his hands clinging onto the bark of the mother tree in anticipation he hadnβt noticed he had. This uneasiness certainly couldnβt look good for him, especially if it was another centaur- what would they think of his sudden interest in the healer? Kristian hadnβt been doing anything out of the ordinary after all. He quickly took a few steps back out of nervousness, stumbling his hind legs into a sharp bit of bark and grimacing when the splinters pierced them. Ah, it seemed that he wasnβt so stealthy after all... all his attention on whatever was following him had taken that which was focused on Kristian, and now he was confronted about it. βU-um, terribly sorry, uh, hello. I see that youβre busy, but I was kind of curious about...β he trailed off and tilted his head to the herbs. It didnβt really seem like that normal of a conversation topic, nor very specific, and Alexander would be lying if he said that his visions hadnβt thrown off his speech a bit. βAnd um, I was wondering if there was maybe something that could calm me down a bit.β
He immediately turned around when his name was called however, upon realising that what had been following him truly was another centaur-two, actually. He diverted his attention sharply back to the horse-centaur leader accompanied by the speaker- Snowdrop- once he realised who it was. The blonde man hoped that the blood didnβt drain from his face as drastically as it felt like. He was normally cool-headed, but the combination of his meditation and getting caught following someone did a good job of disrupting his inner balance.
Clearing his throat with a clenched fist in front of his mouth, Alex stood up a bit straighter. βAh, Snowdrop, Cain.β He nodded to each in turn as he tried to fake a tamer composure. I hope you were not searching for me very long.β The Icelandic tried, near expressionless now though he couldnβt ditch the worrying glances towards the ground. In the later months the cold seemed to have backed off a bit, but now...
In any case, Alexander hated being the bearer of bad news, and he was near positive that would be this interaction. At least they had a bit of privacy at the time, which made the shaman grateful he had followed Kristain. Then only the four of them would know of his vision and there hopefully wouldnβt be a panic.
