ꜱᴏᴍᴇᴛʜɪɴɢ'ꜱ ʙʀᴇᴡɪɴɢ

You walk into an empty, dark library and slide your paws across a shelf of books. As you look through them, something catches your eye in the back of the library – something glowing.
As you walk towards the glowing figure, you realize it is a book, sitting on a podium. As you walk around the podium, the book opens with a distinct creak, filling the library.
A ball of purple light appears out of the book, almost like an orb. You jump back in fear. Not knowing what to do, you freeze and just stare at it. Out of nowhere the orb flicks and a voice starts speaking.

“Welcome reader. I will warn you before you start – this story is an epic, scary, and deathly experience that might haunt you afterward.” The deep voice echoed through the rows of bookshelves.

You look around trying to figure out where the voice is coming from. There is no one in sight and you start feeling your heart start pounding faster.

“If you are scared easily, I suggest you stop reading now.” The voice continued.

You look at the orb, your gut is telling you to get out, but your curiosity gets the best of you.

“I would like to continue to read.” You say, crossing your arms as you get a little closer.

“You have continued at your own risk. Place your paw on top of the book and you will be ready to read.”

You hesitate but then walked forward and placed your paw on the book.

“You will begin in a moment,” the orb starts to circle and surround you. Smoke is raising from the ground and blocks your view. With a flash of light, everything is going quiet.
    Except for the voice.

“Sit and listen,” It said before vanishing away.

In front of you, you see a chair and a desk. On the desk there lies the book, seeming so ordinary and you feel as if the last few moments were a mere nightmare.
Hesitatingly, you take a seat and open the book. However, instead of words, a screen like illusion appeared and you watched:

Thunder cracked loudly, and the was rain pouring down into the sombrely night. An owl’s hooting and bat chirps filled the empty night air.
It was Halloween, which meant trick or treaters were alive and well prepared for their hunt for candy. But there were other creatures too, beside trick or treaters, who wanted to use this night for their gain.
Something was brewing. Something evil and sinister, even though it may have felt like a normal Halloween, it was not what it seemed.
Deep into the forbidden bayou, lived the most feared and evil sorcerer known to viscetkind. They called him the Shadow Keeper.
He was terror and nightmares; the whole village feared even the sound of his name and nobody ever wished to face him. During the rest of the year, nobody dared to leave their houses or dens past sundown, but Halloween was the night they pushed their fears aside.
Lucky for them, although the Shadow Keeper usually liked to taunt the trick or treaters and fed off them during this night, he had something else planned at this time.
Let’s find out his plans, shall we? Continue reading!

Cain is a scheming bokor, driven mostly by greed and the desire to have authority over others. Cain is indeed confident, smooth-talking and often charming, which aids him in luring unsuspecting victims. He is an opportunist and can be quick to formulate plots. He is able to quickly concoct an elaborate scheme, and go through with it. While he can appear charismatic, Cain is also cruel, remorseless and sadistic. He apparently has no qualms with terrorizing innocent viscets as a means to reach his own goals and often relies on manipulation and false saying promises as to achieve his goals. Cain is extremely intelligent, He is able to trick anyone even those who are more than aware that he is not to be trusted. Cain has instances of lashing out in anger, particularly when feeling disrespected, angered, failing, and upset. Although he is fully aware of this and immediately tries to remain calm and maintain composure as much as he can. At times, the smallest inconveniences can send him over the edge.

Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ
Q I. "Do you speak with spirits?"
A I. "Cackles" It funny that you ask as I do conjure and summon spirits, I can either bring them into this world through a spell or portal. I can call upon and summon spirits to do something for me. Also if you may want to know I do capture and take souls from viscets, haha. I might take yours"

Q II. "Have you ever messed with voodoo dolls?"
A II. "Oh YESSS!! I love my voodoo dolls, they are one of my prized possession besides my beloved Cashmere. I had an amazing first time messing with the dolls when I was younger. It was hilarious and amazing for me and terrifying and frighting for the viscet I was messing with, "cackles". It was a foggy night, I was gathering my items. before my creator locked me back in my cell. I sewed the pieces together and stuffed it with straw. I remember seeing the specific viscet I was creating, during Halloween night. I remember creating a portal like a mirror on the wall, which appeared the viscet I was taunting. I grabbed my pins and poking the thigh, the viscet jumped in fear, I chuckled. Haha, I messed with him all night, voodoo dolls are my usual go to. "

Q III. "Why do you collect bones/furs/and blood?"
A III. "I collect bones, furs, and blood because I used them for my potions and I would use them for other things like summoning or sometimes I like snacks haha!!"
+

Q IV. "Do you have any parent or memories?"
A IV. "Parents, memories, ha, no I don’t I was created from a spell, potions, and a cauldron. An evil sorcerer, created me and I guess he would be considered my father, but I would never call that old, crippled, pushover, irritating, demanding, dead viscet my father. NEVER! As for memories, I don’t have any good memories. They are all bad and I don’t like thinking back to them days."

Q V. "Do you have a shadow?"
A V. "No I don’t have a shadow but I don’t have a nagging, annoying, loyal, but irritating spirit that my creator used to own and use as his slave, he practically follows me and my snake everywhere asking for demands and things to do or serve."

Q VI. "What can you shapeshift into?"
A VI. "I can shapeshift into quite a bit of things, snakes, shadows, bats, spiders, objects and mostly anything spooky. Although I don’t do it a lot only drastic measures and when I am in dire need."

Q VII. "What is your most feared fear?"
A VII. "I don’t think I a most feared fear, I think it just depends on the situation that I am put in really. I never really feared anything expect when I defeated and attacked my master or creator. I did fear for my life and wanted out of there."

Jaiyana and Cain meet a cuple times in his life but this time they meet on terms of which he was trying to lure a victim in. Although this victim was not a random viscet, it was Jaiyana's friend Diasha. Cain was watching Diasha as he was scouting his paths for lost creatures in the dark. Cain studied and raced through Diasha's mind to see his greatest wish of all. His wish was to have a daughter of his own, to raise her, and to love her unconditionally. Cain's mind spun with plans before he knew what he was going to do. Since Diasha wanted a daughter, if he accepts Cain's proposal, instead of Cain granting Daisha's wish, he would turn Diasha into a young female viscling, Diasha's fear would feed Cain and he would become more powerful. Cain jumped into action, his smoke filling around Diasha, with his visibility foggy, Cain's snake appeared slithering around Diasha's leg. Diasha freaking out and picks the snake up with his antlers, before throwing the snake Diasha froze by the sounds of rattling and Cain appeared through the fog. "Well hello there, You must be the one and only Diasha," Cain hissed in a smooth, charming voice. "Yes, Yes I am, and who are you if you don't mind me asking, "chirped Diasha
"I am Cain, Jason Vein Cain, I make wishes come true, and my man, I do know yours," He chuckled
Diasha eyes widen in fear, but then he thought about his deepest greatest wish. "Okay...although what would be the catch?" With a tilt of his head, he placed the snake down and glared at Cain. Cain grabbed his precious snake and spoke. "There's no catch," He chuckled. I just love to make viscets dreams come true". Diasha rubbed his chin as he listened to Cain, "All you have to do is shake my hand and your wish will come true." He reached his hand out and nodded.
Diasha looked at his eyes, " Could he actually be telling the truth," He thought.
"I would never lie," He smirked
Diasha reached his hand out and was about to shake Cains hand. Cain smiled widely with his tail rattling, But before he could.
"Wait, Diasha don't do that, don't shake his hand," Jaiyana Screamed, " Mr. Cain here is a voodoo sorcerer, He was definitely not gonna grant you your wish." Jaiyana slapped Diasha's hand out the way, She stood in front of him blocking himself from Cain. "Cain...Cain...Cain, we meet again, aren't you supposed to be in your castle and leaving my part of the area alone," She snapped
"I may have stepped out of my lines, although he is lucky u have stepped in I would have turned him into a little girl," He chuckled.
"Diahsa, head home, Cain you might as well do the same before I show you the way," She chirped.
"Alright, Alright, im going." Cain snapped before pouting into the shadows. Jaiyana and Cain are not on good terms after Cain tried tricking jaiyana, he found out none of his powers work on her. Jaiyana and him never cross paths unless he is in her territory.

Crain - Chapter One - 1592 Words

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴏɴᴇ

Sounds of an explosion echoed through the eerie forest; leading two a two-story, old, black, castle covered in wearied down bricks. The door swung open with a creaking sound, that rather sounded like the wailing of a dying child.
“Ahh, you pile of bones, work god nabbit,” A crackling voice snarled through the castle walls.
Down the hall, to the right, up the flight of stairs, and to your left, was a room that was filled with dark smoke, making it almost impossible to see anything.
Inside the room and surrounded by the smoke stood a tall, dark-toned, medium-sized, viscet in a cloak: The one and only Shadow Keeper.
He was standing over a cauldron that was covered in purple sludge, which was bubbling and appeared to be growing and growing, slowly reaching the walls.
An orb flew from a corner of the room and appeared in front of him. With a flick of light, it turned into a black shadow figure.

“Hahaha, you failed once again master,” the figure whispered, an amused cackle in its tone.
“Pipe your ghostly hole before I send you back to the underworld, you irritating snob!” The Shadow Keeper snapped.
“You don’t have enough nerve. And you need me. We both know that.” The shadow seemed to laugh, as it flickered through the smoke, surrounding its master, the Shadow Keeper. “This has been the 20th attempt of you trying to create your ultimate weapon. When will you finally succeed?”
“My mind is not all here and you know it,” the Keeper snapped back, following the moving shadow with his eyes narrowed and his brows furrowed in anger.
“Aha, yes, yes, I know, I know. And you know what, master? It is hilarious to watch.”
The Shadow Keeper decided to ignore the figured attempt of getting under his fur. “I need to get this potion right! Instead of acting like a complete fool and trying to find something else to pick with me about, how about you get your ghostly spirit behind to your station and FIND ME THIS POTION!!,” He shouted.
“Alright. Alright! Jesus and the unholy Almighty, get your tidy widdes out of a bunch,” The shadow mumbles under his breath and disappeared.

The Shadow Keeper rampaged through his castle looking for the recipe for this one specific potion. Up and down through books and every scroll he could find. He even checked secreted passages and hidden chambers behind walls, but nothing was found.
    Until…
“Master! MASTER!” The ghostly shadow suddenly appeared shrieking out of nowhere.
“What is it, god nabbit? can’t you see I am busy?” The Keeper growled, baring his fangs. He was certainly not happy about being interrupted by his familiar.
    “I found it.”
    “What?”
    “I FOUND IT!”
“The potion? Let me see! Ah! Yes, YES!”
The Shadow Keeper took the dusty roll of parchment from the ghostly wisp-tail of the shadow, who was moving up and down and around in circles, obviously pleased with itself.
His eyes wandered over the old words, written in dark red letters, and he read: “One gallon of sorcerer blood, 2 rattlesnake fillets, 3 empty viscet eggs, a jar of raptor bones, and the spell of the creature.”
“Yes, master. The right potion and spell. We should head out and get all the ingredients!”
“Yes, we should indeed. And we will head out right now. Well, my dear familiar, you will get the eggs and the rattlesnakes, and I will make sure to get the sorcerers blood and raptor bones. Understood?”
The shadow figure hesitated. “But master…” It mumbled, “… I don’t like messing with s-s-snakes. Do you remember how I died?” It started to flicker and shiver.
“Yes, yes, I remember, you big sissy. I know exactly what happened. But guess what?”
    “What?”
“I don’t care. And you are dead anyway, so it’s not like it’s gonna hurt ya, eh?” The Shadow Keeper snarled with a creepy grin, satisfied to be able to mock his familiar in return. “Now go and get my ingredients, you pest. And you better hurry!”
“Okay. Okay! Jesus and the unholy Almighty… you seriously need to chill.” The shadow whispered, first turning into an orb and then disappearing out of a window and into the forest.
“I really don’t know why I still put up with you,” The Shadow Keeper growled, watching his familiar leave.

Both of them took off to get the ingredients, that the potion required.
The Keeper raced into town, hiding in the shadows, trying to figure out, where he possibly could find sorcerers blood. Then, his eyes connected with the old hag’s shop at a corner.
“Of course.” He smiled to himself, walking towards the shop.
All the windows were dark, and the door was obviously locked, but none of this was going to stop him. He knew, that she was there. She always was.
With a swipe of his hand, he forced the door open, entered the dimly lit building and slammed the door shut behind him again.
“Well hello madam hag. Finally, we meet again.” He chuckled, when he saw her stepping forward from behind a bookshelf.
“Ah, Shadow Keeper.” She glared at him angrily. “What do you think to find here? Have you forgotten, that we are not in good terms with each other?”
“Yes, madam hag, I do remember. Although I am not particularly in good terms with anyone in this town.” He chuckled, while handing her the list with the potion ingredients. “But I am here on business terms and I would not have stepped a foot in your dirty establishment, if it weren’t of high importance. I am certain you can help me with what I am looking for, can’t you?”

“Sorcerers blood.” She read, raising her eyebrows but smiling wickedly nonetheless. “Yes. I might indeed have what you’re looking for. For a certain price, of course.” She huffed and handed him his list back, a toothless grin on her face.
“What price?” The Shadow Keeper rolled his eyes and snarled. He was aware, that the old hag was not after simple gold or silver. She dealt with other goods.
    “A pure soul.”
“A pure soul, eh? You are a funny old hag.” The Shadow Keeper growled and started to dig around in the pockets of his coat. Rattling noises and squeals were to be heard. He then pulls out a vial, a blue glowing wisp-like figure inside.
“Well, here you go.” He was paying a high price for just a bit of sorcerer’s blood, they both knew, but the Keeper was also desperate.
The old hag snagged the vial from his paws and tucked it into her apron, cackling like the witch she was. “Well then, Shadow Keeper, follow me.”
They walked to the front of the store and behind the counter. The old hag bent down and rumbled through an assortment of things before lifting a wooden box. She put it down, grabbed her keys and unlocked the box. Out of the box, she pulled a vial containing dark red liquid, labeled “sorcerer’s blood”, which she handed to the Shadow Keeper.
“Now if you please get out of my store, before I will have to throw you out.”
“I’d like to see you try.” The Keeper chuckled with a deep voice, shoving the blood in one of the pockets of his coat. But he left without another word; after all, there was still another thing, that he had to collect: the raptor bones. But where would he be able to find those?
Then it dawned to him: “I do remember there being a museum nearby,” He thought to himself.

He peaked around the building to make sure no young viscet where out trick or treating; only when he was certain to be alone, he took off in the direction of the museum, halfway to the destination he ran into his spirit.

“Watch where you are going, you foolish nuisance!” He barked angrily.
“Sorry, master. But I found the ingredients. Did you find yours?”
“I was on my way to get the last one, before you eyeless pest ran into me.”
“Alright. Well then, let’s go together!” The shadow suggested happily.
“Ugh, you seriously get underneath my skin…” The Shadow Keeper whispered, shaking his head.

When they reached the museum, they found it locked and the alarm systems working, and the Shadow Keeper found himself glad, that his familiar had dragged itself along.
“You go inside and get those stupid bones for me.” He commanded. “I’ll wait here. Don’t take too long.”
“You could at least say please, you know. After all the things I do for you.” The ghostly figure complained but at the sight of his master’s eyes glowing red in anger, he retreated into the museum and made sure to find the raptor bones as soon as possible.

Luckily, the nature-historical museum was not particularly lacking dinosaur bones and so the shadow figure came back to its master after just a short while, handing him a bag, inside was the disassembled skeleton of one of the museum’s most prized possessions.
The Shadow Keeper chuckled as he thought of the faces of the staff, when they would notice the bones gone. He wondered, if his shadow familiar could be seen on camera footage? A shame it was, that he wasn’t able to stay and find out.
“Let’s go home now. Time to create a monster.”
And so, they went back to the castle in the forest, the Keeper eager and excited to turn his plans into reality.

Cain - Chapter Two - 333 Words

“Get the cauldron on the fire! We need to get going before the moon sets and Halloween night is over!” the Keeper shouted with a snarl.
The spirit grabbed the cauldron and struggled, shaking and stumbling to get it onto the pit. Naturally, the thing was too heavy for the wispy figure, but it somehow managed.
As soon as the cauldron was ready, the Shadow Keeper shushed the spirit away and started to chant and put the ingredient in.
    “Round about the cauldron go,
With all the ingredients in the pot,
    Watch the creature show.
In the cauldron boil and bake,
    A gallon of sorcerer’s blood,
    Fillets of a rattlesnake,
Broken raptor bones with a little mud,
With 3 viscet eggs that would make,
    A charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
By the pricking of my thumbs,
    Something wicked this way comes.
    Open, locks,
    Whoever knocks!”
A huge and bright purple blast blinds the Keeper for a moment. When he was able to open his eyes again, the room was filled with thick, purple smoke, rising from the cauldron and filling not only the castle, but the Shadow Keeper’s lungs as well.
He coughed heavily, while fanning away the smoke to be able to see, if the spell had actually worked. With one last wave, The Keeper got a glimpse of a white and brown spotted egg in the cauldron.
A satisfying smile formed on his face. “It worked!” He shouted.
“Did we do it, master? Did it work?”
“Yes, we did it. My monster is alive!” The Shadow Keeper announced with an evil grin, as he lifted the egg out of the cauldron and placed it on a bail of spread out hay, gently patting it.
“In two weeks my little monster will hatch. And we will start training and making him into our weapon!” He chuckled.
From now on, the Shadow Keeper kept a tight eye on his egg and made sure that nothing happened to it.

Loud growls were coming from the castle, echoing through the yard.
“Why hasn’t it hatched yet? It’s been three weeks now. It should have hatched last week!”
The Shadow Keeper was pacing around, snapping.
“Perhaps it just needs some more time, master. I am sure it will hatch any day now.” The spirit whispered, trying to calm down its master, who just growled angrily and bared his teeth at the shadow figure.
“I hope so! I need this! I cannot fail again!” He shook his head stomping out of the room.
Once again, three days went by and nothing seemed to move; the egg was in the same spot, warm and cozy, buried in the hay.
It wasn’t until late at night on the third day, that the egg started shaking and gently rocking back and forth.
Suddenly, a small bit of the shell had now fallen off onto the hay and inside of the egg, something was moving. Cracks were forming all over the surface.
The sounds of a viscling’s chirp could be heard from inside. His movements and chirps indicated that he was eager to get out of his egg.
With one last kick of his feet, he rolled out of his egg, onto the hay and glared around the room, finding himself all alone. He let out a last chirp, searching for a grown viscet to come and warm him, but besides his own noises, the castle stayed silent. The little viscling dug himself underneath the hay and fell asleep.

The Shadow Keeper was fast asleep as well, in his own bed, the room quiet as it could be, when suddenly, the peace was interrupted by his shadow familiar.
”Master, Master! The egg has hatched!”, it screeched, waking the Keeper from his slumber, sending him up onto his feet and making him race down the stairs, to the dungeon and towards the cell the egg was in. “Where is he? I don’t see him?!” He hastily unlocked the cell.

“I don’t know… I just… I just saw the egg broken and came to you!” The spirit was shaking in fear, as it might get yelled at if the viscling was not there. It wasn’t its fault, of course, but its master might believe it was.
The Keeper walked into the cell and closed the door behind him. He looked at the ceiling and around the hay bales.
Right as he was about to bend down and rumble through the hay in the back corner, a rattle sound was to be heard, along with a soft hissing.
“Come on little one, come to your maker,” The Keeper said in a low, alluring voice. “Come here, come here. I won’t hurt you…”
The viscling poked his head out of the hay and snarled at him. “My maker,” It chirped.

“Yes, yes, my little monster. Come here and let me see you,” He extended his arms to grab the little hatchling, surprised to hear it say its first words already.
The viscling hissed as he picked him up and bared his teeth, showing the large fangs and purple venom tripping off them.
“Oh my! Look at you, would you? You are such a beautiful horrifying little thing, you will be such a big help with my plans… yes indeed.” A large grin appeared on the Shadow Keeper’s face.
He then started to look at the youngster from head to toe. It was covered in shades of brown, with raddle snake pattern, along with some white tribal markings. As for its mutations, the viscling has a slit pupil with 2 horizontal/parallel, dragon’s nose, if you head to its tail, he had a rattle at the end of it, just like a rattlesnake did.

“I am so proud of myself right now!” The Keeper laughed. “Just look at what I created! You are everything that I expected. Even more so.”
“Master…” The shadow figure interrupted him, “what are you going to call it?”

As the Keeper check the gender, the hatchling squirmed and tried to get off of his grasp. “Since this monster is a boy, I will call him Jason Ven Cain. Cain for short.”

    “Excellent, master.”

The Keeper placed the hatchling back in the hay and went to finish up the rest of his plans.
Later during the night, he went down to the dungeon again and slid some food under the hatch of the cell.
The viscling snatched the plate and ran to the back of the cell, cowering into the hay and eating hastily.
Without another glance, the Shadow Keeper locked the dungeon door and went to bed.0

Many months past and Cain grew big and strong, Shadow keeper and the shadow figure both trained and taught Cain many of there ways. The shadow keeper taught him to hate, anger, no love, how to create spells, potions, murders, and much more. The shadow familiar taught him to have some feelings, how to fight, although he may be a spirit he can definitely throw a punch. He taught him also how to obey orders and put up with the master's anger. Although Cain was still a couple months old he had a long way to go. Cain was very lonely in the dungeon below the castle, he wasn't looking for love, just a friend who gets him, a friend who can help him, and know his feelings. The shadow keeper and the spirit figure, never showed that to him and yes he may have been a monster to all and is feared by the whole village, there would be soon someone who would win over Cain's small heart.

When Cain finished a day of training and missions. The shadow keeper locked him back in his cell. The cell was large, the bricks had cracks, although Cain has tried to escape through the blocks, they were too small for him to escape. But they were small enough where small creatures can come through. When the shadow keeper locked him up and went to bed, Cain cleared his cell and made his bed in the corner. He layed down wrapping his tail over his face and leaving his leg Sprawled out. The wind blew hard outside the castle, freezing weather was on the way. The castle was as warm as an oven. this was great for small creatures wanting to get warm. Sounds of small pebbles moved through the dungeon, which cain fast asleep did not hear a single sound. a small hissing sound can closer to cains cell and out appeared a small green snake with bright purple eyes, it slithered through the bars of cains cell and headed to the hay bail, in which Cain was laying on. Within a flash cain yelped, jolting up, Cain looked around then down at his nose. There the snake had bitten cains nose, the small snake dangled from his nose, Cain chuckled, "Aha look at you small thing, you pack a large punch of a bite," Cain chirped as he detached the snake from his nose, cain lifted the snake with his claw and looked at it.

"You are such a cute little snek, I'm gonna call you cashmere," the snake looked up at him as he announced cashmere, "You like that name don't you," He chuckled. The snake tongue flickered at cains statement! He patted the top of the snakes head, the snake reacted with a wag of its tail, Cain never saw a snake wag its tail before. He knew this little guy was his and he was excited to have a friend and pet that he could count on. After that day cain and cashmere grew up causing mischief and trouble around the city. their bond grew close and Cain can't leave anywhere without cashmere wrap around him. They do mostly every job together and cashmere helps cain with anything he may need.

"CAIN!!" The shadow keeper shouted as he walked down the dungeon stairs. "Todays the day, you will make your first kill, terrorizing the town, and make me proud," He chuckled with a wide grin on his face. "Yes master, and whom would be my victim today," He said staring into the master's eyes. "Today's victim is up to you, my dear Cain, you will pick your victim, bring them here and you will end them, you will then terrorize the town at night." He smiled showing his teeth. "MASTER!," The ghostly spirit shrieked." Appearing in front of him. "God nabbit, you annoying pest, what do you want I am talking to Cain," He snapped growling underneath his breath. "You can't let he just go by himself, what if something may happen, maybe I should go with him."
"NO, you would just get into his way, as you do with me," The shadow keeper snarled. Cain smirked keeping his mouth shut, looked at the floating figure next to the keeper. " Cain I would want you back here before the sun rising, you hear me. If you are not you will be locked up and not fed for a week, understand." He snarled. "Yes master I understand," Cain lowered his head and waited for the keeper to give him his signal to leave. The keeper nodded as he started walking out the dungeon, "Bye Cain, see you later," The spirited chirped, "Call me if you need anything," He whispered, as the keeper dragged him along.

Cian tried to not laugh, as he took off from the castle. The night was dark and gloomy, and he was hoping to find something or someone back to the keeper, he did not want to starve or be locked up any longer. hours had passed and Cain had not run into anyone, Cain shrugged to himself then spoke. "Cashmere what am going to do, no one seems to be around."
Cashmere looked at Cain, with a flick of his tongue cashmere slithered off of cains back and slithered away, Cian new cashmere had a scent and he was leading him to something. Cain followed cashmere for 20 mins. which seemed like hours. Then out of know where cashmere stopped and slithered back up cains back, he flicked his tongue in the direction of the victim, within minutes cain lurked in the shadows. in front of him was a beautiful viscet, with shades of black and red throughout her body her hair was shades of red and she had gorgeous long ears. She was sitting on the ground next to a portal that had just been opened. She seemed to be down and it looked like a perfect opportunity, Cain closed his eyes and focused on her name, thoughts, greatest wishes, and her mind. Her name was Bone and her most desire is for love and acceptance. For approval and appreciation. Apart from cains heart sunken, as he felt the same way about love, but Cain shook it off and took his plan into action. Although this was his first time actually approaching his first victim, Cain did his best. Smoke filled around the young viscet, her visibility became less and less visible. She fanned but nothing was working. Cashmere slithered behind her, wrapping himself around her body where she could not move. Cain then appeared through the smoke and chuckled. "Looks like you are in a bit of a pickle, dearie,"
"Who are you, if I may ask," She snaps trying to wiggle out of the snake's grip. "My name dear bones, is Jason Ven Cain, Cain for short." He looks into her eyes as he walks closer. "How do you know my name, Let me go or so help me," She growls.

"I know many things my dear, and you would not be going anywhere," He chuckles bending down, touching the side of her cheek moving the hair away from her face, his eyes connect with her and she calms down. "Bones, everyone calls you a demon, but all you are doing is helping out in your own way, no one seems to want you around eh?" Cain's voice was soothing and calm. "Yes...Yes, that's true."She announces in a low voice before placing her head down. Cain places his paw underneath her chin and pulls it up. "I might be able to help you my dear with your problem, all you have to do is listen to me and I can make all your dreams come true." He smiled at her but behind that smile, all he could think about is what will his master do if they don't come back together. "I..I guess I can be at your service only if you will grant my wishes," She said nicely. Cain told cashmere to unleash his grip and head into the forest, Cain got up and leaned against a tree watching Bones, she sat down catching her breath from the grip. She then looked up into cains eyes and fluttered her lashes, cains eyes connect, he never seen such beautiful eyes. He was actually getting sidetracked before he snapped out of it, by her thought. "Is he actually to be trusted, I really would love someone to be around who will accept me cherish me and love me,". Cains' eyes dropped, he could not let her die. Although he could still use her. "You will hear my thoughts in your mind when I need you, you will then come to me, alright," Cain Snapped in a low tone. "I got it," She chirped. Cain left bones and headed back to the castle, the thoughts of starving and cell bond ran through his head but he was ready to face the facts.

Cain walked through the gates, in front of him appeared the familiar, "Where, Where is it, where is your victim," The spirit shrieked as he spun around in circles. "I let her go, "He shrugged. "Oh no, oH NO!, OH NO, Why did you do that Cain master will not be please with this at all." The spirit flickered in fear and vanished. Cain walked up the stairs and into the castle. "Master I am home," Cain hissed through the castle. The shadow keeper appeared through the doors of the hallway. "Cain my dear boy, did you bring home the victim," He smiled with eager eyes. "No master, I did not," Cain looked at his master's face and it turned from proud to anger. "WHAT, YOU TELL ME YOU DID NOT BRING BACK A VICTIM, THAT WAS AN ORDER!!! THIS WAS YOUR FIRST TIME, I EXPECTED YOU TO BRING ME WHAT I ASKED." The shadow keeper bared his teeth as he shouted. "I found a girl master but she was no good," He glared into his eyes. "A Girl!!! A Girl!!! That was an easy target, you filthy beast, I gave you an order and you disrespect me, YOU WILL BE LOCKED UP IN THE DUNGEON, NO FOOD, NO DAYLIGHT, AND I WILL GO KILL HER MY SELF!!!," The shadow keepers eyes have gotten red, his teeth where showing. The shadow keeper swung at Cain scratching his face. "You are a disgrace to me, after all this training and preparing, you could not bring me back a victim, what good are you to me," He hissed turning away, to search for bones. Cains' eyes widened, his blood was boiling, Venom started to flow from his fangs.

"WAIT MASTER," The familiar appeared in front of the shadow keeper. "Don't do this we can fix him and continue the training," He shivered and flickered in and out.
"Out my way you annoying pest, he will never be a sorcerer, he is not evil, he will never be who I created him to be,"The shadow figure glared at the familiar, Before the shadow keeper could turn around, Cain charged on top of him. The familiar, Vanished into thin air. Cain sank his large fangs into the keeper's neck, shooting venom into him. The shadow keeper clawed Cain in the back, but that did not stop him, his blood was on fire, the negative hate from him, the abuse, the locking of the cells, hunger, made Cain even angrier. Cain was dead weight and the keeper could not move. The venom kicked in and the keeper was lifeless. Before the keeper took his last breath cain whispered. "I guess you where the weakest and not the most powerful sorcerer that live now eh?" Cain chuckled holding onto his neck. As he took his last breath Cain let go and sat there. The shadow familiar peaked his head through the wall shivering, Cain looked over and shook his head. The shadow then spoke. "I'm sorry master Cain, I am now at your service," He chirped. Cain shrugged his shoulders, he was out of breath, Cain got up and dragged the keeper's body out back and threw it into the river. He watched him as he floated down the river. Cain wiped the remaining blood and venom off of his mouth and dusted his hands as he walked into the castle. Cane walked up the stairs and headed into the keeper's room, "This is now my room," He chuckles as he lays down on the keeper's bed and falls asleep.
