Escobar was a bit surprised that the silver wolf proved to be so friendly, and he noted that she instantly admitted she had trouble hunting her prey. He found it odd that any wolf would admit such weakness to a stranger. Then again, this was a much better reaction than being attacked, so he had best not complain.
"Oh? Are you used to hunting other prey?", he wondered as he stepped a few paces closer, tilting his head slightly out of curiosity.

Kayla thinks for a minute before answering. "No not really." she answered honestly. "I dont mind rabbits at all! Rabbits were the first prey I ever learned to hunt when I was old enough to learn. I guess certain conditions can affect the odds of how likely you are to catch the prey. Like if the ground is slippery from a storm that can affect your balance or if the wind isnt in your favor before the prey notices you." She was relieved to see that this male is very friendly, happy that this was a good sign that maybe she can be with this male. Theres just something about him that makes her feel drawn to him.

the grey wolf had been lapping up the cool water from the stream for several minutes, finally filling her try parched throat with a soothing sensation, when she heard the small patter of footsteps nearby and raised her head to look around. she thought perhaps a rabbit had come out of hiding and she'd be able to get something to eat, but instead she spotted a tiny wolf pup, which had its eyes locked on her in fear as it stepped back. calista immediately lay down on her stomach to appear less large and scary, letting out a soft whine to the pup. "hey little one. its okay, im not gonna hurt you, i promise. i'm calista, you can call me cali if you want. what are you doing all the way out here by yourself? do you need help?" her voice was soft and gentle; pups had always been her weakspot.

Iberis listened attentively as Juniper spoke, glad that she agreed with his thoughts. Perhaps wolves have just never touched this land? And now that more have discovered it, it's more alive with life than ever? It seemed logical to him, but he didn't even realise how lost he was in his own thought until Juniper asked why he was here in the first place. That wasn't an easy answer, and he wasn't sure if it was something he wanted to disclose to a wolf he has literally just met. Would she see him differently if she knew the truth?

"A new beginning" he finally told her, followed by a rather forced and timid smile. He'd rather leave it at that, and perhaps when he knew Juniper more, he would tell her more. He was eager to change the subject before it turned awkward, or she asked anymore question. "How about we stick together, Juniper?" he suggested "It has been a while since I saw another wolf, and besides, two is better than one" he grinned slightly, hoping she would agree by it. Maybe they'd come across other wolves in the future, too, that would like to join them? They could flourish as a pack in this territory, just the thought of it made Iberis' heart flutter.

Osiris and Tundra have been travelling for a long time now. Osiris was determined to find Tundra a safe place to grow up and learn, and after some time of wandering around and searching, the two have settled in Eden. Eden was a dense forest with lots of rabbits and other rodents Osiris could easily catch to feed Tundra, and she could eventually learn to take down herself. There were many hollow trees and burrows where they could hide from predators and harsh weather. Overal, it seemed like the perfect place to raise Tundra, but Osiris was growing anxious. Eventually, Tundra will glow tired of him, and what will he do then? Will he able to let her go, and find a life of her own? It made Osiris' stomach turn at the thought.

Osiris has left Tundra in some shrubbery while he went out to hunt for some food, something he has often done as he couldn't always take Tundra with him. However, it was risky to ever let Tundra out of his sight, so it was not that much of a surprise to Osiris that the pup was gone when he returned. He snarled slightly in frustration when he discovered the empty shrub, but Tundra's scent was fresh and easy to follow. It wasn't long before he spotted the pup with a stranger wolf in the distance, and Osiris' instincts kicked in immediately. He snarled loudly as to let his presence be known, and jumped out as to cover Tundra with his body in case the stranger was hostile. He stood on his toes, his back arched and hair standing on end. "Who are you?" he snarled at Calista, but before she could answer he looked down at the pup between his legs "Did she hurt you? What did she say to you?" he demanded.

Juniper hadn't realized the bit of tension her question would bring. Things often slipped out of her mouth without thinking. She nodded at his response, giving a smile. "Well I hope your new beginning is all that you wish for." She told him, understanding needing a new beginning. She slightly tilted her head at his offer, thought the joy in her eyes from the idea of having friends and pack was evident. "You are right." She agreed. "Sticking together isn't a bad idea at all." She said, her mind now wandering and wondering if others would come too.

His tail lashing, Tyr watched as the wolf revealed herself and took notice of how slightly smaller the female was. He fought the urge to chuckle when the she-wolf shrunk herself to make her look as if she wasn't a threat; Tyr may be aggressive, but he can easily make out if someone is going to threaten him or not- and this wolf wasn't. The male relaxed his muscles slightly and cleared his throat. "I'll let you slide this time, Jinx, but don't stalk me like that again," He warned lowly. Tyr took a pace forward and was now standing behind Jinx, ready to head up further of Mt. Edna. "Now, I'll be heading on my way." He turned and padded up the mountain, most likely to find a place to sleep at for now until he was out of the mountain. Feels like I've done so much, but I haven't. The brawny male thought to himself. He continued his way up the mountain until the scent of Jinx was now growing faint, signaling that she was no longer nearby. But just within a few seconds, another scent of a wolf wafted into his nose, causing Tyr to roll his eyes in response.

He dragged a longing gaze around the mountain, trying to make out a figure of a wolf, which he did- a female was sitting on top of a boulder, overlooking the scenery of Mt. Edna. Tyr decided to not hide away, but surprisingly, approach her. "Enjoying the scenery?" He blinked calmly at the female, which was uncommon for him to do since he didn't really enjoy speaking to other wolves.

Kara decided to not linger around in her den and go out and explore. She hoisted herself to her paws and lumbered out of her den, also taking a moment to stretch and flex her muscles since she's been laying in there for a good few minutes- possibly more. She shook her grey and dusty pelt before she hared off deep into the forest, feeling the wind brush through her thick pelt with ease. Out of excitement, she howled, which might have scared off most of the prey and alerted any other wolves in Eden. The 4-year-old female drew herself to a light walk as she noticed two wolves talking; one male and the other female. Feeling a bit tense, Kara approached the two cautiously, which she would never do. "Uh, hello. . .?" She woofed softly at the two wolves, now making her presence known.

Kestrel continued on his way, then quickly stopped in his tracks. Wolves- he smelled some of them, somewhere in the forest. Following the scent, he tried to see any signs of other wolves in the area. He stepped on a branch, which snapped and caused a few birds to fly out of a tree. He watched the birds, then looked down to see if their movements scared any prey. A rabbit hopped into sight, and he looked at it, debating if he should run after it or not. He decided to go for it; it was big enough, and he needed food if he was to be able to keep moving. He ran after it, trying to head it off so he could catch it. It ran past him, and despite his best efforts it disappeared back into the safety of a burrow. Kestrel snarled at it, annoyed at himself for losing it. He shook his pelt and tried to catch the scent of the wolves again, following the trail again.

Kayla perks her ears at the sound of another wolf, turning her head to see a female she has never met before. "Hello!" she said happily. "Ive never seen you before!"

Tundra, still looking at her with fear, felt a little safer as she started to talk. Before she could answer, Osiris had made is way to her. " No n-no I'm fine. She seems nice. " Tundra whimpers to her dad. She was still a little scared of Calista, but she felt better after listening to her speak. She takes a few small steps towards her. " I'm Tundra... It's nice to meet you Cali. " She gave her a friendly smile and looked back to Osiris.

Diana blinked as she heard someone behind her, her immediate instinct to flatten her ears and curl up her lip in a gentle snarl, but when she saw the calm male, she relaxed her muscles. He didn't seem hostile, in fact he appeared very reserved. She straightened her paws and adjusted her balance to regain her feminine posture, but not for a second did she put her guard down. Unknown males didn't scare her, she just wanted to be prepared for the worst. She smirked at his question slightly, thinking the situation over in her head.

"I guess you could say that" she chirped, turning her head back to face the vast lands beneath her. Her actions were more of about strategy, choosing the best place to live and start a pack, but besides there was something enjoyable about it. She turned back to face the male, her ears now pointed forward attentively. "How about you? What brings you here?" she asked, taking the opportunity to scan the male before her. His fur was brown and white, with large intelligent eyes with a hint of pain. Besides this male had a rough history, but don't we all?

Iberis' eyes lit up when Juniper agreed to stick by him. It has been a long time since he has had the pleasure of meeting a non-hostile wolf, let alone one that agreed to group together. He was beyond happy, and the possibilities rushed through his mind. Though, it looked like Juniper really enjoyed the idea too, which only made Iberis even more thrilled. He happily pounced onto his feet like a hunting fox, his tongue flapping in the warm air.

"We should explore this territory! See what it has to offer!" He excitingly blurted out, his tail wagging behind him. If they were going to live in Elysium, they might as well get to know this new land and eventually make it their own. Perhaps a secure territory will only attract more wolves to join them? He looked at Juniper, his eyes light. "If you want to, of course?" he questioned, respecting if Juniper had a different idea in mind.

Osiris let out a low rumble in his throat as Tundra took another step forward towards the unknown wolf, claiming that they 'seemed nice'. To Osiris, that wasn't good enough. Anyone can appear nice to a young, naive pup like Tundra. Osiris was however, not convinced just yet. As Tundra got closed to Calista, he stepped forward and blocked her pack with one of his front legs, pushing her back so that she was standing under his belly. "Have I taught you nothing?" he growled slightly, his voice deep, annoyed that the pup was able to trust a stranger so easily. He then turned to Calista, waiting for her to say something. Besides justify what her business was with Tundra, or simply apologise and run away. Whatever it was, Osiris was not letting his guard down incase she turned hostile.
