weston high school is located near the coast of california in a town called adair. adair is a fairly small town and everyone knows their neighbors and their neighbors’ neighbors. not a lot has happened in adair that was particularly memorable. it’s a a pretty quiet place and there’s not a lot of crime. most people after high school leave to go follow their dreams, but they somehow always end up back in the quaint town.
most parents like to believe that all their kids are friends, but all the students know that’s definitely not the case. all these kids grew up together. so if you’re new… good luck. the students are all divided into certain cliques, and that’s how it’s always been.

Ezekiel was up fairly early. Not because he needed the time to get ready for school, but because he just happened to wake up at that time, and he didn't see any point in trying to get a few extra minutes of sleep. He got dressed, wearing a light grey t-shirt, blue jeans and a deep, navy blue fleece-lined zip jacket. He then checked his school bag, making sure that he had everything he was going to need for the day - anything else he'd get at his locker - then Ezekiel walked downstairs, getting himself some toast for breakfast. Then, he pulled on his shoes - a pair of black Converse-style shoes - and he went around to his siblings and mother to bid them goodbye for the day, and he went outside, to start walking to school. It was only a fifteen minute walk away, so he wasn't too fussed.

Erik was up bright and early, and already humming quite cheerfully under his breath as he got himself ready for the day. He was certainly a morning person, and didn't quite see why anyone would have trouble getting up in the morning. Oh well. He got dressed into a pair of dark jeans, a pale blue button-up shirt, and a black denim jacket over it. Then, he bounded downstairs - and went back up to get his bag, then back down again - and got himself something to eat - an apple. Then, he made conversation with his parents, speaking in Dutch, for it was most comfortable for all of them, and he left for school. He took the bus, which arrived outside the school in around ten minutes. Then, he stepped off it and walked into the building, and down the corridor. Erik stopped at his locker, and he unlocked it and started to sort through the books he was going to need for the day ahead.

Jazmine awoke, to the alarm on her phone going off. She sat up, picking her hairbrush up off her nightstand, and walked to her mirror. She ran the brush through her hair a few times, and then looked in her closet for something to wear. She settled on some black leggings, a grey shirt that was a little longer to cover her butt, and her favorite dark grey combat boots. She walked down the stairs of her house silently, as her grandparents were still asleep. She grabbed a granola bar on her way out the door, and started on her walk to school.
When she arrived, she was actually a little tired, and decided to sit on the railing, leading up to the front steps. She sat there for a minute, humming a tune that had popped into her head on the way there.

Ellis woke up by his alarm and got out of his bed. He got dressed in jeans, cowboy boots, a black t-shirt, and a sleeveless flannel. He grabbed his cowboy hat and walked to bathroom getting ready the rest of the way. He walked down stairs and noticed his dad was sleeping on the couch again. He walked to the backdoor and went outside to his horaes fiving then food and water before saying goodbye to them and going to his bright orange chevy k20. He staryed it up and it started roaring loudly. He pulled out of their long drive way and started to drive to school. Ellis and his dad lived outside of town and owned about 6 or 7 acres of land with forest and trails.

He finally got to school in about 20 minutes and pulled into the parking lot. He parked in the front sode if the parking lot closest to the exit. He turned off his truck the roaring of it dying down slowly. He checked the time on his watch and made no move to get out of his truck just yet, he exmained the outside of the school.

Emma was 'hiding' undercovers because she knew her mom would be coming into her room with another attempt at getting her out of bed. Deciding to grab her phone she sat up and started to go see if she had any important notifications, which she didn't, but it worth checking it out. Satisfied with her short excursion on her phone she got out of bed and started to get dressed, she threw on a pair of black leggings, a white t-shirt, and a red Adidas sweatshirt. It wasn't long before her mother had come back into her room, "I'm surprised you're up." Her mom commented, Emma just shrugged and continued to get ready for school. Emma quickly did her makeup and then headed downstairs to grab some food.
After eating she started to put her shoes on, a pair of red converse, "I'm off loser." She jokingly said to her brother. Emma didn't live too far from the school if anything it made her mad that she lived so close. Being a ten-minute walk away was something she wasn't particularly fond of. She made her way to school with a sigh then pulled her earbuds out of her pocket and played some music.
Emma pulled out one earbud once she got inside of the school, just in case someone wanted to talk to her, though, she highly doubted it. She had no business at her locker and decided to sit in the cafeteria and fool around on her phone.
