here's a tentative guess :

this pupper

here are the reasons i think it's this pup :
- "But either way I'm sure my pup loves candy. We'll have to wait until it wakes up to find out, though!" the pup's eyes are closed
- there are other pups that have their eyes closed, but,
- the nose isn't brown. all the other pups that have their eyes closed (besides the singing one, which is obviously not sleeping) have brown noses
- there are no line edits on the ears
- both ears are the same

well i hope this will suffice for a guess ;;

well in discord dia went into desmonds chat and said
"D BCNU SN O" and "D BTU OC O" in morse code
and desmond went into dias chat and said
"O GE OB D" and "O OK GL OB D"
and then recently desmond also said today
"The Morse code messages in this channel and Dia's would be a start to the investigation, I should think.
You can also check common places for clues."

I'll also deny this pup. While you've followed the clues to a "T" - the first clue was from one of the first days in the pup hint search. My pup's eyes are open now that it is no longer under its blanket.
