When Neveah offered him the ring, he snatched it up quicker than he should've, slipping it onto his left ring finger and admiring it for a second. "Not so fast, princess," he cooed, taking her hand and slipping on the beautiful ring from earlier onto her left ring finger. "It's only right if you give me a ring, for me to give you one," he explained before she got the chance to ask. He took her hand in his, bringing it to his lips for a small kiss before stepping out of the doorway, closing the door that locked behind him. "Now I believe we're ready," he declared with confidence, beginning to walk down the hall that lead to the ballroom where the welcoming ball was being held.

She took in a deep breath and sighed, after quickly fixing her hair and just putting on some lip gloss, she walked out of her room. Faida almost dragged herself downstairs, she truly would rather avoid the ball, but it was an obligation to attend it.

The ring felt foreign on my finger as I found myself staring at it. It gleamed against the color of my dress and I blushed slightly. "It fits like a glove!" I said surprised and looked at it more carefully. The gem was one of my favorites and the size coincidence seemed uncanny... Especially since none of my sisters wore the same size as I.

"Mm, you are aware this is my ring finger correct?" I said with a chuckle and walked beside him. My dress flowed behind me and I gasped when we entered the ballroom. It was so elegant and designed to match both the Princes and the Princesses tastes. My eyes sparkled with excitement and Asher's confidence only boosted mine.

"Maybe we are the first to arrive?" I said, not seeing any of my sisters.
