┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓xxxxxxxxxxxname cody webb mood is hungover a mood? location coffee shop┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛cody grinned as wen approached, propping his sunglasses up onto his forehead. he took a sip of his coffee as she sat down beside him and nodded his head at her her question.
"like an angel."
he leaned down to scratch behind malachi's ear and then slumped back into his chair.
the sky was grey and bland, clouds covering every inch of the visible horizon. a frown twitched at cody's eyebrow and he sighed. he was ready for red-hot summers, barefoot by the pool and lazing around with a cocktail. not this constant gentle drizzle from the grey, grey skies that left everyone sitting around with nothing to do. cody took a disappointed sip of coffee.
"my brain feels like mush," he drawled, "i swear im gonna die."
cody's face twisted in to a mock grimace, hand bunching in his tshirt where it covered his heart.
"i can feel it... the life draining out of me... one jaeger shot at a time..."
his eyes rolled into the back of his head as he tried not to laugh.
"i had so much i wanted to do before i died..." he trailed off, before explosive laughter bubbled out of him, not at all phased by the confused stares from the table neighbouring them.

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
name theo lynwood mood already tired of social interaction tagged andre, oscar, levi
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
mercifully torn from his immersion in the latest mindless phone game, theo looked up to see
andre, headphoned and band-merch'd as usual, approaching the playground.
"so... what's the plan today...?"
theo returned his friend's wave with a more sarcastic one of his own, then indicated the
grey weather and empty playground with one sweeping gesture.
"i'll take a wild guess and say: not much until the others get here."
he would have been perfectly happy to just hang around with andre in companionable
silence; they had similar taste in music and at least he knew how to be around other
people without running his mouth constantly. like SOME people. unfortunately, any
chance of peace and quiet was ruined as the aforementioned loudmouth appeared at
the entrance to the playground.
"hey guys!!"
theo didn't even dignify that with a response, merely flapping an arm in oscar's direction
as he lay back on the asphalt. he draped an arm over his eyes to block out the cloudy
sky, imagining the days to come of sun (hopefully) and fun (definitely).
as further proof that friends are like bloody buses, it was at that moment that, with a
jangle of swing chains, levi arrived.
"morning all! how are we all?"
he removed his arm and squinted over at her, fluffy and put together as usual. he
wondered if her awkward excitement was due to oscar's presence or to simple enthusiasm
about the summer to come. it was hard to tell. theo shrugged, pulling himself upright
again to lean against the climbing frame.
"doing fine, baby. what's got you all smiley?"
he liked to emphasise that levi was the baby of the group whenever possible - it wasn't like
she was much shorter or younger than him, and it wouldn't do for the others to start
getting ideas.

Oscar Alberti
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
role; the loudmouth! location; playground mood; loud, mildly overdramatic tagged; theo, andre, levi
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Oscar gave an overdramatic pout when Theo simply waved him off as he approached, of course, he wasn't actually offended. Theo was always like this with him, but it was a good excuse to make a fuss. Teasing his cynical friend was admittedly very fun and he had an even better chance once Levi arrived. He couldn't help but offer a bright smile and a small wave in her direction but he didn't have a moment to spare a spoken greeting. He was about to lean into his act.
"Oh come on Mr Grumpy, where's my response," Oz smirked, sitting down close to Theo and Andre. Generally, he was a rather affectionate person, which meant a lot of hugs. But he wasn't totally cruel. He knew Theo hated it so all he did was sit close enough to tempt fate but never actually touch him. "Don't I at least deserve a hello?"

➵ ANDRE LIU
───────────────────────────────────────
mood ● party time? party time. — location ● kid's playground yeet — tagged ● theo, oscar, levi
satisfied with theo's sarcastic retort, andre clambered up the slide and laid back against the cool metal platform. he didn't expect theo to start up a conversation, meaning there would be some peace and quiet before the others arrived. nature made its own music— something andre enjoyed very much. there was something great about the way the breeze whistled and rustled the leaves. sometimes, it was much better than a guitar with a satisfying level of distortion or a catchy drum beat. this was one of those times. it didn't show on his face, but the anticipation of today made him feel giddy.
just then, oz showed up. the man to match up with andre's current mood was every inch as loud as his thoughts at the moment. andre didn't concern himself with oz that much since the two were very much opposites, but having him around is nice. if andre doesn't feel like talking, oz will do it for him. well, he'd do it regardless. he wasn't a loudmouth for nothing.
it wasn't long before levi showed up, too. she was like a child, the way she composed herself. not immature in most senses, but the sheer joy that she carried in her aura made andre think that there was really nothing that could bother her. to him, levi was simple like a kid. she was happy all the time and it probably only took some candy and a hug to cheer her up. regardless, andre loved her and her personality. she and oz were the lives of the party.
"i'm doing okay," andre told her as he watched her through the railings. "yourself?" he at least felt easy enough around levi that he could initiate some basic conversation. plus, despite knowing levi was in a good mood, andre wanted the words to come from her.
oz was saying something when theo waved him off. quite an interesting conversation, really. then again, everything was interesting when oz was involved. "i don't know what you were expecting, oz," andre commented, sitting up. he readjusted his headphones around his neck before curling up and hugging his knees. "he's theo."
