laika / lai!! (+ a tune) 🌱she's Green, warm n tough!! (& a huge nerd.) she's based in an au that's like.. medieval fantasy but based in a modern timeline - like there's the same technology n cities n everything, but people go to college to become mages or blacksmiths or apothecaries or bards or etc ajndjndfj!! & there's mythical creatures n magic ancient temples n stuff around which is totally normal n has always been a thing for this universe.
- lai's a swordsman, she collects swords & is pretty skilled when it comes to using them - but she leads a pretty laid back lifestyle for the most part. she lives in a wooden cabin by the forest, which is also on the side of an old quiet long-abandoned highway, & she constantly smells like the steam of green tea that has been haloing her hoodies for years from each stargazing night spent on the porch. her house is sometimes visited by travelers who need a place to rest, but it doesn't happen all too often. she's also rly into collecting plushies, so yeah, she's the weird nerd who has a bunch of cute stuffed animals in her room accompanied by her Cool Dangerous Swords displayed on the wall. most important detail is that she owns a possessed sword named kilkare, & in all honesty, she bought it online. she Always carries it around. (fun fact she uses guitar straps 2 carry her swords!!) the thing possessing the sword isn't really malevolent, & laika's pretty set on communicating w/ it & exposing it to stuff!!
- she doesn't socialize all too much, especially because she lives practically in the middle of old nowhere with no one else around (she technically always has kilkare, but i mean real other plyfs in the Flesh), but she does like to invite friends over 2 play videogames n stuff together every so often!!
- when she goes out it's usually to the forest by her house, or going on an adventure or smthn with kil, but sometimes she takes the metro train system that's a bit of a walk away from her house to go into the city. personality wise she's very chill n nice, & is easy to get along with. she's sometimes kinda hard to take seriously, but she is best friends with smthing that's possessing a sword which is most likely a wise elder or somethin so people Try to respect her sometimes.
