Appearance:
Build: Joeyβs build is rather lean for her breed. As a female, she is generally smaller in size, but isnβt very strong in comparison to most. However, donβt underestimate her potential. She is swift, nimble and light on her paws.
Coat: Joeyβs coat is a wide variety of different shades of brown, black and cream. Her base coat is a dark agouti, this marking is prominent throughout her entire body. Her colouring resembles a mix of hues, ranging from lighter cream around her neck and facial areas, to brown and black which cover most of her coat.
Eye Colour: Her eyes are a striking, ocean blue.

Personality: Nervous, Kind, Untrusting, Dependent, Pessimistic, Motherly
True to her traits, Joey has always been a nervous sort of dog. This skittish behaviour was caused mainly due to her sheltered upbringing. Raised as a pet, rarely leaving home, Joey wasnβt given many opportunities to help build her confidence as she matured into an adult. Though nervous, she is anything but unkind. Saying nice things happen to be her specialty, and most importantly, her words are always genuine. Manners and compliments are free things to give, and Joey wonβt pass the opportunity to offer a kind word to someone who needs it. Joey is friendly, but you may find untrusting. She has trouble adapting to new environments, and is much more comfortable with what she knows. So being stranded out here in the forest would clearly be a problem for her. Due to her pregnancy, Joey knows she must soon be dependent on others when survival becomes more difficult. While she wonβt actively seek assistance, she will accept it when she knows she has to. But doing so increases her self-doubt, and although she wonβt say so, it will cause her to become quite the pessimist. Once her pups are born, she will be mindful of who she allows around them. Maybe only dogs she has since grown close to will be able to interact with her litter.
Backstory: Joey had an easy life from day one. Though bred from a lineage of sled dogs, she was declared too small to be up for the task, so was decidedly sold to be a family pet. Joey thrived into family life, never once thinking her life could be any different. Until one day, she met him. A handsome stray had found himself wandering a little too close to Joeyβs backyard. Her first reaction quickly became terror. In her eyes, strays had always been dangerous dogs, never to be crossed. But then she got to know this dog. Short visits soon became neighbourhood walks, and Joey grew the courage to venture with him away from home. Slowly, her heart was drawing her to this dog, and within months after meeting, Joey fell pregnant with his pups. But good things never last. One day the visits stopped. Taking it upon herself to find him, Joey headed out alone, a risk she never shouldβve taken. A desperate search drew to an end once she found his body laying slumped beside a busy highway. Joey mourned her loss for a long time, but soon overcame her sorrow to focus on raising his pups as best she could. But now taken from her home, things are now more complicated. Keeping her pups safe means building strong allies with these dogs who were abandoned beside her. Only by forming trust and bonds could her pups possibly have a chance of surviving out here. This isnβt something Joey can even consider doing alone.
