she was the quickest little dog on the agility course, and though she has terribly
short legs, her size seemed to serve her well. her owner and the judges all spoke
highly of her. each time she was entered into agility competitions the crowd
would cheer as she turned sharp corners, zipped through tunnels and flew over
the bars. there wasn't a happier time for charm than practicing agility. before
each run her paws would tap wildly up and down until her handler released
her to go. "yes!" her owner would say, and with that she was off like a racecar.
afterward she'd fly into her handler's arms and lick his face with joy surging
through her like electricity. those were the best years of her life, until her
accident. she still remembers it vividly though prefers not to tell. in an attempt
to protect her owners' home from a vicious squirrel, she flew down the steps of
the front porch and tore across the grass. within seconds the squirrel had climbed
a tree, just barely missing being hit by a car. the car that hit her, instead.
the details were blurry after that. she was brought by her sobbing owners to the
vets, and got an extensive surgery on her back leg to remove it. charm's spent
the past year and a half recovering and learning a new way to move. her owners
put a lot of time into helping her recover, but after a while they both began working
different, long jobs. they couldn't care for her or pay for any more vet bills. she went
from being a successful agility dog to spending her days and nights in a dog house
until she wandered from home.

this brute is assertive but isn't blinded by his
leadership. he can follow directions and takes others'
thoughts into consideration. this shepherd is resourceful
and a skilled wild dog. apollo is quite clever and can
get himself out of traps quickly. when he can't
accomplish something he gets frusterated,
but keeps working on it. he's super determined in
everything he does. apollo can be overly confident
sometimes with a large ego to match. through all
of these traits, he is a kind and
thoughtful dog who just wants to be helpful
to those around him. although he is most
experienced in things like fighting, hunting, etc.
he does his best to listen and comfort those
who need it. he can be defensive if provoked, but
he stays true to the pack. apollo can be very charming.
this male will always stick to his word and
can be trusted not to break a promise.

oliver is quite the oddball, seeming awkward and clumsy at most times.
he is a fun friend to have, usually quite lively and just wants
to make other dogs laugh. currently, he's looking for a best friend
to have lots of adventures and fun with.

Backstory:
born into sickness and filth, jasmine didn't
have a head start at life like most pet
dogs, or even some strays. her
entire family grew sick and withered
away quickly before she went out on her
own, even at her young age finding
ways to make it. she became well
known around a back alleyway,
every human who worked at the
nearby businesses having a warm spot
for this little soul, but not having
the funds or means to take her home.
everyone pitched in collectively to
feed her the restaurant scraps, and
she'd sit patiently at the back door
everyday, knowing the familiar humans
would provide for her always, to some
degree. one day it was prime rib, the next
just leftover salad, but she knew there
would always be something. and if no
food was available the workers would
make sure she felt loved, giving her
scratches. some went out of their way to
make sure she had a cardboard box,
blankets, fresh water and other
things in the alleyway, others simply
threw her the leftovers they couldn't
plate for customers, all taking pity
on her and showing the little dog
kindness she could never repay.
she stuck close until construction
started nearby and scared her away
from her safe, cozy little street.
the workers put up signs, desperate
to band together and find the pup
they all grew fond of, even finding
a rescue offering to take her in as
news spread of this special girl.
of course this was all unknown to
jasmine, as all she could do is
run until her little legs couldn't carry
her, thinking the sound of construction
was the earth caving in. after calming
down she realized she had no clue where
she was, and wasn't alone for long until
she found this pack.

she's strong-willed, not allowing anyone to push her down or
disregard her. she won't tolerate any type of flirting from the males
in the pack. cheska can't stand being coddled or anyone else being
coddled, even puppies. she believes that you have to become
prepared to fight the dangers of this world the hard way. kindness
will only get you so far in life. although she has learned to tolerate
the pack. she understands how to hold her tongue for the
sake of saving her own tail. she shows respect to the alpha as
