ð=D (same thing with B)
I think it might be the ALT+ whatever letter or number thing.
If it's not I don't know then.
You are on something of the right track, but none of your letters are right.
It has nothing to do with the alt key and there should be no numbers in there.
Blah I am about to sleep. Someone will need to look up what the code for each one and convert the numbers to letters. At least thats what I think. Or maybe on certain keyboards, the funny character is located where the letter would go. My phone keyboard is too limited in languages to check
It's not any of the word fonts that I ran through a test on a document, as the only way to get the £ symbol was to use numbers. Anyone else having any luck?
Edit- I could get the rest of the keys, and they all replaced letters or punctuation.

Let me just give you a couple tips before you get way off-track. Just because I'm such a nice person. And hungry. *mumbles through a mouthful of cookies*
1. You are correct that each symbol corresponds to a letter. However ...
2. Looking at keyboards, alt codes, symbol meanings, other languages, etc. is not likely to get you very far.
3. It is a sentence and the letters are not scrambled. That is to say, if you figure out which letter each symbol represents, you will be able to read what it says without further decoding. If your guesses aren't producing actual words, you have something wrong.
*waves cheerfully* Have fun!
