Did anyone else realise that the dalek's ray gun can't exactly point straight above them? So the easiest thing to do is to jump ONTO the dalek and stay on. It can't exactly kill you from there.
Or, since the new daleks don't have a rotating middle bit, hang onto it from the behind. Then it can't shot either.
