Alex walked around the town aimlessly.

Nathan swung his sword, turned sharply and pulled it back before jabbing it back out, killing three of his shadow enemies. He made the shadows into figures in his head, for - he found - this was the best way to practice.

Cynthia looked around the forest clearing, she looked down at her anklet, she got up and started to walk over to the river. She saw a shadow in front of her, she smiled, "Come here girl" the unicorn trotted over the log across the lake and came up to Cynthia, Cynthia smiled, "Good girl Blossom" she patted her long silky mane.

Karla sat against a tree waiting for her dragon, the light seeped through the forest trees, then her dragon, Strider, came walking out of the light and walked over to Karla, "Aww hey Strides" Karla rubbed his leg then Strider leaned down to get scratched on the head.
