Name: Alkierum Alkadoth (Is called Alk by close friends)
Gender: Male
Age: Roughly 19 in Earth years.
Species: Pure Galran
Role: Against (Doesn't particularly like the Voltron coalition, he does have a little bit to thank them for though)
Personality: Very proud, he doesn't particularly like to say he's wrong. He's pretty flirty and is often trying to get attention from the girls.Alk is to some degree power-hungry, so he will often do things just because someone promised power or respect.
History: Alk was originally a somewhat high-up Galran general until the fall of the empire. He never saw any action against Voltron, as his main objective was to keep enslaved planets under control. A loyal Galran soldier, he of course sided against Voltron and continued to help the Galra. Once the fall of the empire came, though, he was stripped of power and remained to wander through the universe by his lonesome. After the end, he accepted just a little bit that the Galran were being on the harsh side. Alk had a small amount of silent thanks for stopping the rampage, but he still aches for the power and respect he had before. For the time being he is somewhat against the coalition, but maybe, just maybe, you can turn him onto the coalition's side. With everything he knows he might be useful.

Name: Aiko Jin (AJ)
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Species: Human
Role: Atlas Mechanic
Personality: AJ is not a people person; she's never entirely sure how to act around people. Despite all this, AJ is a very touch-oriented person, whether it be hugs, cuddles, hand holding or shoulder touches; she craves it all. So, when she feels close to someone, she does her best to show it through these kinds of touches. AJ is also a very bold person, never really taking no for an answer. To her, the answer is always yes; it's just a matter of figuring out how to do it. She also doesn't take too kindly to being ordered around. but is smart enough to realize when she should keep her mouth shut and just do as told.
History: Born Aiko Jin to Maiko and Akio Jin, AJ had a pretty normal life until she was 7. Her father was a lawyer and her mother worked as a communications liaison for a multinational technology company. At the age of 7, AJ lost her father to a slow battle with a brain tumor. She and her mother were understandably heartbroken, but they soldiered on. 2 years later, Maiko met Jason Queen, an American, during a board meeting. Actually, Jason had been working there for the last 3 years as an Investment Manager and the two had seen each other occasionally over that time. The two hit it off rather well and were married just a year later. It took a while for AJ and Carson, Jason's son, to come together, mostly because AJ is such a closed off person. Carson was persistent, however, and they started bonding over video games. It was around this time that Carson started calling her AJ and she found she actually liked the nickname. The two have been close ever since.
They both joined the Garrison at around the same time, AJ as a mechanic/engineer and Carson as a pilot. Of course, that means they were at the only standing Garrison base when everything went to hell in a handbasket. Their parents were lucky enough to find themselves among one of the surviving groups of humans who weren't captured and made their way to join their children.
When Voltron was looking for new Paladins, Carson convinced her that they should see if they could become Paladins. She reluctantly agreed and they headed off with the consent of their parents. Turns out neither was compatible with any of the Lions.
Romantic: None/Bisexual
Family: Jason and Maiko Queen-Parents; Carson Queen-Step brother

Name: Carson Queen
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Species: Human
Role: Atlas Crewmember/Communications Officer/Pilot
Personality: Carson is very level-headed, especially in stressful situations. That said, he is in no way a very serious person. He loves to make fun of his enemies, though it does serve tactical purposes as well. He's very loyal and dependable. He does what he says he will, no matter what it costs him. He always puts others first, whether it's his teammates or civilians or his family. He always has an open mind when it comes to planning and is very much an 'out of the box' thinker, whether it's with his knives, hand to hand, or just a simple trap. He'll use anything and everything. He's also really good at talking people up and getting them to agree to pretty much anything. No one really knows how or why this happens, but he's never tried to hurt anybody with it, so they just roll with it.
History: Born in America, Carson and his father moved to Japan when Carson was just 7 because of his father's work. When he was 10, his father met Maiko Jin and the two were married before Carson turned 11. Carson now found himself with a new mother and sister, AJ. At first, he found it difficult to get close to AJ because she was such a closed-off person, but he eventually got past her walls and now they're inseparable.
When Voltron was looking for new Paladins, Carson convinced his sister that they should see if they could become Paladins. She reluctantly agreed and they headed off with the consent of their parents. Turns out neither was compatible with any of the Lions, though they became members of the Atlas crew.
Romantic: Biromantic Asexual
Family: Jason and Maiko Queen-Parents; Aiko Jin-Step sister
Other:He has a patch of skin on the back of his head where no hair will grow because of a bad run-in with a coffee table when he was younger. It's not really noticeable unless you know it's there. He's a little tender and ticklish there, so AJ pokes it when she finds him to be particularly obnoxious.
