oscar is that kind of guy who can get away with not studying much and yet
somehow ends up passing with a decent grade, and you know he could do better
if he tried. he's much more concerned about friendships and his social life than
the future though. his family are reasonably well off, so he's been pretty lucky.
he hasn't had to get a job yet and as he describes it 'coasts through life'. oz is
super confident in himself and is certainly fun to be around. he'll do all the
talking for you, although this comes with the side effect of him never shutting
up. oscar can very quite blunt, and is often oblivious to it. he is a really good
friend to have but trusting him with a secret never ends well, he's very nosy
and also very eager to blurt whatever he knows out. right now oscar is just
trying to live in the moment, though really he's just using it as a way to avoid
thinking about the future.

life is too short to spend time sitting around
stressing all the time. however, to that same
effect he doesn't try very hard to please peop
le. he knows that some people are frustrated
by his... 'laid back' nature. his parents descri
bed him as "coasting through life." this doesn't
really bother him - or, he tries to not let it.
cody's bad at commitment. he'd rather have
100 different experiences with 100 perfect st
rangers than stay with one person for too long.
he wants to experience the world, even to
his own detriment.

cody and andre are quite close friends,
to the surprise of most. although the p
air are opposites in personality, they
find refuge in each other. when things
are overwhelming, cody helps to distra
ct andre and help him calm down, ev
en keeping a spare pair of headphones
in his bag for him, just in case.

the cynic - theo lynwood
cody finds it hilarious to constantly te
ase theo. he knows how to pull his chain
just right to get an eye-roll or a sarcas
tic comment flung his way, or even a
lecture. although cody is constantly g
etting on theos nerves, he knows that
theo loves it, and isn't really that mad
when cody unorganises his hoodies, in
search for one that comes without an
emo slogan on it.

cody practically revels in levi's inexpe
riance. he takes great joy in "educati
ng her" on the inappropriate, sometim
es to the frustration of their more pro
tective friends who want to savour her
innocence. still, he would never purpo
sely lead her astray and does his best
to tone down the, ahem, dangerous
escapades when she's around - if only
not to influence her.

the loudmouth - oscar alberti
oscar and cody have a simple friendshi
p. cody helps oscar live in the moment, a
nd in return oscar drags cody home wh
en he's hungover the next morning. they
are fairly superficial, and avoid talking
about their feelings. they have more of
a "ill hold you up by your feet whilst you
do a keg stand" type relationship.

venus and cody have a slightly strained
relationship at the moment. though th
ey used to be friends, cody was hurt w
hen she suddenly stopped hanging out
with him at parties and raves. he stru
ggled to understand why she suddenly
dropped him, and the two became di
stant over time. its not that he didnt
want to understand venu's choice, jus
t that he struggled to empathise with
how the culture was hurting her.

when cody met winnie and discovered
her conservative upbringing, and the lo
nesome affect it had left on her, he m
ade it his own personal mission to he
lp her relax and wind down every once
and a while. when the stress becomes
too much for winnie, cody acts as cou

ke that. ve was the new girl once upon a time and she just never managed to click w

rs, they really pushed her away and made life a living hell for even liking the sport. s
o she became an outcast and she pretended she wasn't, went to parties, drank too m
uch and got involved with people she shouldn't have. she had a pretty bad drinking p
roblem for awhile. ve is a person who just wants to fit in, even if it goes against her
own morals. it's something she's working on. she's in a better place now and it shows-
she laughs a lot (snorts too), she's sarcastic as hell and never let's anyone have the la
st word. she expects things to go one way and they better or she'll make it happen. b
