Ah, yeah, that's definitely a lot easier than buying a truckload of henna and having to redo it every fair. Since the tattoos continue down along the hands/feet themselves I guess I'd have to actually do that part on my skin, though. Same with the face.

Kinda conflicted on whether I wanna go with the yellow eyes he has most of the time or go with the black sclera + red irises he has sometimes. I wear contacts normally so colored contacts shouldn't be much of a problem either way, but does anyone here have experience with sclera contacts? Do they irritate the eyes anymore so than normal contacts?

Do you buy your costumes, or make them yourself? it depends, my boyfriend makes our more complex outfits but we buy the things we can find in stores with ease, the wigs, the contacts, etc. for instance he made our galtean klance outfits, and he is currently making the coats for our stammi vicino cosplays
What was your first costume? a more casual ciel phantomhive when i was... 16? for halloween.
What is your favorite costume that you've done? altean lance so far, i'm pretty new to the scene so he was only my 3rd outfit (2nd "official" cosplay i've done that i've taken to a con)

*rolls into thread* soooo with the con like a month and a half away I've decided to change my costume for one day and go with Ahsoka from the Clone Wars. Any tips for body painting? He skin is orange, so it'll be interesting to pull off.

Also have to finish a Halo ODST suit of armour for the cosplay group I have been adopted into. So really should get on with that heh...

Cinderella Hanamaru is progressing nicely, the bodice is mostly sewn - debating doing a corset back or a zip up the back. sleeves are cut, probably gonna be sewn today. as it's currently 2am and sleep is evading me, just the skirt, petticoat to go after that is sorted.
then I have to make all the accessories and do a shocking amount of beading.

Maid yukiho is done, both overload cosplays are sorted. and just need to sort the headphones and then Cheer Honoka is done.
