lynxpaw was the only surviving kit in his litter of four, and his mother, hollybloom, passed
shortly after giving birth. as a kit, he was pampered and sheltered by his father, crowpatc
h, who was deeply upset by hollybloom's death. he looked up to his uncle, snowspark, as a
kit and often shadowed him when his father wasn't around. his father passed from a bad b
out of greencough shortly before lynxpaw became an apprentice, and snowspark soon foll
owed.

hawkgorse has spent most of her life trying to become the best war
rior she could possibly be. her determination and loyalty has alway
s been a constant in her life, and she strives to defend those weake
r than her. to most, she is a strong, yet stubborn individual who's a
good asset to the clan, but not much more. her sights seem to con
stantly be set on her duties, but she often wishes for a mate or kit
s. she's a tad overprotective of her younger brothers, looking after
rookpaw more than she probably should. a bit deep down, she's an
affectionate, sensitive cat, but she's plenty good at covering it and
only bothering to show it with cat's she's close to. if you aren't clos
e to her, she comes off cold, but she has a soft spot for kits and ap
prentices that's clear to see. love is something she tries to stray fa
r away from, anyways, and she's quick to reject and try to ignore a
ny cat who tries to make advances on her. with the right cat, mayb
e she would open up, but for now, definitely not.

born to a strange she-cat and an unknown father, hawkgorse was never
quite close to her mother or her two siblings. it was when she was an a
pprentice that she met her father, whom she had a particular distaste f
or. he was a shady, aggressive rogue, and hawkgorse felt ashamed to ha
ve such a cat as a parent. despite this and her aspirations to be a stron
g warrior, she hung around her father occasionally, and met another ro
gue around her age. they were friends for a good moon or two, until ha
wkgorse became a warrior. however, it wasn't until she was twenty moo
ns old that they reunited. they basically continued where they left off,
and soon became mates. hawkgorse truly considered leaving her clan, h
er hopes, her dreams, for this cat. unfortunately for hawkgorse, though
hawkgorse would soon be left behind by this cat when hawkgorse was
unable to carry their kits. feeling dejected and angry, hawkgorse bega
n shifting her interests far away from love and kits, and opted for bec
oming the best warrior she could.

personality : Cardinalheart has never been the type to show his emotions. Reserved, oftentimes cold, and stoic, Cardinalheart is a cat who doesn't seem to have a heart. While he isn't cruel and won't raise his voice, he isn't the type to speak gently and kindly. At most, he's a stern cat, but he's typically just indifferent. Oftentimes talking to him is like talking to a wall; He will listen, but don't count on him to respond. When he does respond, he can often be insensitive, because he genuinely just says the first thing that comes to his mind after considering if the conversation is worth having. But like any cat, Cardinalheart does feel, just significantly less than others. To him, his own emotions are the least important. Emotional outbursts, love, or anything of the sort are just useless distractions. His duty is not to himself, but to his clan. And although he rarely shows it, the only things he hates are cats who are lazy, and cats who are traitors to their clan. But for his clanmates, he would scale a cliff or dive into the river without a second thought. He would always put his clanmates needs above his own in such situations. His suffix stands for his heart as a warrior, rather than as a cat.

history : From kithood, Cardinalheart has always been obsessed with his clan. Born in a litter of two, Cardinalheart grew up exceptionally close with his littermate, Robinbelly. As a kit Cardinalheart would lead fake patrols around the camp, and Robinbelly would follow. Their parents instilled in them from a young age that their clan came first. Cardinalheart took this to heart, and it became what he lived by. Robinbelly, on the other hand, was much more relaxed. Once they became apprentices, Cardinalheart put his all into his training and neglected his relationships, while Robinbelly focused on friendships and frequently fell behind. When Robinbelly fell behind, Cardinalheart supported him, and with his help they managed to become warriors at the same time. Cardinalheart's warrior life was average, him being the same, loyal cat he's always been. The same could not be said for his brother, who confided in Cardinalheart that he had fallen in love with an outsider. Cardinalheart struggled to accept it. He just hoped that his brother would come to his senses and break it off before anything happened. Unfortunately, Robinbelly did no such thing, and a few moons later came to Cardinalheart and confessed that his mate had given birth to a litter of kits, and he wanted Cardinalheart to help him leave the clan to be with them. Cardinalheart not only refused, but went straight to the leader, betraying his brother's trust. After being confronted, Robinbelly tried to save his mate, who was adamant that the kits not join the clan, but the she-cat was eventually killed over it. Cardinalheart's relationship with his brother was now incredibly strained. Robinbelly passed away only a few moons after his mate's death, leaving behind two kits. Cardinalheart felt guilty for some time, but always thought it was necessary. Twenty moons have passed since then, and Cardinalheart still tries to have a relationship with his niece and nephew despite what happened.

personality : To his clanmates, Stagspring is friendly and kind, being peppy, energetic, and encouraging. He's a patient teacher who is supportive to his students. He's very firmly set in his beliefs, which are close-minded, and won't accept conflicting beliefs as valid. It doesn't come up often, but when it does he will push his beliefs onto others. history : Stagspring was born Stagkit, named after his brown fur and because he was the largest of his litter at birth. Funnily enough, he not only ended up a small cat in general, but is tiny compared to his brothers. He's a little insecure about it, but other than that his history is average.

While she may not look it, but Windpaw is a deeply ambitious cat with big dreams. If it benefited her enough, she would act opportunistically even considering the consequences. She's not very confrontational either, and won't stop to mend relationships that would become strained. But with those she is currently close to, she's affectionate and loving, and there are some relationships she values enough to consider fixing if they fell apart.

This cat is big, boisterous, and naïve. They can be stubborn at times, but usually come around as they are also impressionable. They will usually give cats the benefit of the doubt. They are susceptible to manipulation and are sensitive.

This cat has been lazy since birth, but it's somehow worked out for them.

This cat is a bit prickly, somewhat short-tempered. Oftentimes, she overthinks and acts irrationally to protect her loved ones. She wasn't sure about having kits, but was open to it so long as her mate was by her side. Unfortunately, he passed away a moon after the kit's birth.* She can be overbearing, but also strict to her kits.

This cat bites off more than he can chew. He's bold, insensitive, and blunt, not unwittingly. At times, he picks fights over petty things because he feels he's being threatened. He's also insecure and volatile. To older cats, he wants to prove himself and will compete with his peers (even when it's not a competition. that's the issue.)
