Listening to the words D'arc continued to speak, still trying to urge me towards the exit - though all with good intentions i had to try and find the strength not to set into him again and certainly, to hold my tongue it was obvious he was worried about everyone's safety especially with our little knowledge on these what we would have though hours ago, were only mythical beasts but he did need to keep in mind, just because i wasn't one of the boys i could handle myself. Letting him finish Questioning my decisions and the intelligence of the government i finally looked over, head resting on the headrest of the seat i sighed, glancing momentarily to the top of the car and back at him to find our gazes suddenly connected, eyeing him i could practically feel the tension leave the air as we sat in temporary silence his calming air taming my own fiery one he could always do that, regain control of any situation and captivate anyones attention, I was no different and i liked it. "I meant what i said sir, i'm not going anywhere" I breathed, as my gaze searching his for something, anything but what i didn't know "unless its what you want.." I added after a few moments of silence part of me didn't mean what i had said i didn't have any intentions of leaving but i also didn't want to distract Rian and get him hurt.. or worse it already had happen and with that thought i looked to his arm and back up to his gaze, whatever kept us safe..
Finally redirecting our attention back to the lead we had uncovered i nodded Listening to him as i let my eyes dance over the map in thought, one arm calmly over my lap and the other resting on the arm rest as i hummed looking from the map to the window and the direction we had come from before nodding So you think they could be acting in defense? as in protecting something? that could make sense but what, one wouldn't think they'd keep it at the main house thats too obvious, what about abandon buildings on the land?" I suggested with a shrug, it was better then nothing and we hadn't the slightest idea how smart these creatures actually were, i only paused for a moment to look around once again before continuing "If it'll be helpful, i can see what came back on those plates we ran? we'll at least know what else we're up against exactly, rather it be these things or other hunters as well" I offered when my gaze returned to him with a slight tilt of my head it was nice to have the conversation back onto how to solve the actual threat rather then avoid it, it was as i heard his comment about ford and the new agent did i listen into the earpiece in mild hope something would come through even just a status report but nothing but mild crackling had, and i casted a half hearted look back to him "he'll be here, we both know he likes to make an entrance.. but that doesn't mean i don't volunteer to hold him still" I commented before staring at nothing in particular sore frame resting against the seat "exactly how fast are these damned things? we know they easily out do us, but they also have to be able to flee their attacks before the police and sheriff show up" I thought aloud they were clearly much harder to kill then one suspected, but maybe just maybe if we got enough knowledge on them, we'd be able to get them in the open long enough to take if not all - most down.

The faint vocals of father and daughter behind us rang in the back of my mind as they looked over one another, assisting the other off the ground and continuing their hushed conversation i ensured to keep an ear on them, and the rest but mostly too pay attention to not only the threat laying before us, but also the family member that stood beside him one who got, despite her words a still rather dissaproving glare. I held my stance as i watched their hands be rose towards chest level, first Blairs, then the albino's a sight that caused a snort from my wet nose but a breath to be released none the less slightly relieved this wasn't some sort of rebellation as unlikely as it was, with our luck lately it wouldn't come as much as surprise. As she continued to speak with well reasoned caution i blinked ears still high upon my skull and frame still tense as i took another step forward eyeing mostly this time the unknown, taking in his scent which had the very faint scent of home, the border, Emmy, blair. Catching the younger females scent on his form i narrowed my gaze again, flicking my tail what the hell was she doing with him? if he was around long enough to encounter both of them why wasn't anything further then a tour done??. Being drawn from my thoughts as i heard my name being spoken i shot my gaze back to blair, on his own accord my tail, about to adress them directly my attention was captured by the faint vocals of Emmy, my gaze quickly glancing to her form tucked beneith her fathers as she did what she could to lead the larger canid away with a nervous aura, one that made sense when hearing her prior vocals. Looking from them and around the indeed open area we sat i looked back to the duo, tongue rolling once more over my maw as the a- Scott began to speak, mentally taking in his stance which was nearly identical to Blairs though much more submissive i sighed, they had a point, i knew they had, since the attacks began the packs numbers had drastically declined, we were panicked and we were more unpredictable then usual but we were still us. I only remained silent a moment longer before another soft growl exited my maw, a warning in a way as i glanced back to where the others had disappeared too and motioned for them to follow the fact we could no longer see emmy or emery held an uneasy feeling, who knew what lurked these woods anymore, we sure didn't and injured one was as good as dead. Wasting no time i ensured nothing had picked up on our trail, and the others were in tow before loping in the direction of the pack house typically a loner or rogue whatever scott truly was wouldn't get this close but something told me it was too late for that.
{ My apologies if Adam's post wasn't exactly as well written as usual i am half asleep but was determined to get something up tonight }
