Have I ever put why I love Halloween here?? I don't think I am but we're doing it now

Halloween candy is better then Christmas gifts imo?? Like not saying I don't like my Christmas gifts but Halloween candy is way easier, way cheaper and it doesn't take up the space gifts do. It's small, simple and sweet and the candy sales after are great for sweet seekers. Going trick or treating is so much more fun then opening gifts anyway. It's super cool to see everyone's costumes, decorations etc and not just your own tree. Even if you're handing out candy you'll still get to see cool stuff. It's not a Switch but trick or treating is still valid.

Also Halloween costumes are literally the most fun aspect of any holiday. You can dress up at whatever you want. Obscure anime character?? Sure! A cute cat?? Okay! Super scary fx gore?? You betcha! October is literally the only month you can wear practically whatever especially if it's spooky. It just endorses so much creativity and there are no rules, what's not to love? Sure i may be edgy and adore the Halloween aesthetic but i greatly prefer spooks to snow. October honestly just ceases to be fall for me it's spook season now--

There's more stuff I could say and I'll probably get it in later but I'm really tired now and this is already incoherent so I'll stop sdfggfdfg
I'm dead serious about my love for Halloween though

An excuse to binge on scary movies AND chocolate? Yes please! But seriously, I love everything about Halloween, the monsters, the candy, the spoopy decorations; it's my absolute favorite day of the year. (Plus years of working in retail has ruined Christmas for me. )

tbh halloween is just awesome, it's an excuse to pretty much cosplay anything
and get candy for it. i love seeing everyone's costumes, and possibly recognizing a character someone does.
i love the theme of it, my whole life i've been into like spooky stuff, horror movies, etc, and what a better
time to appreciate all of it than halloween. christmas is great and all, but halloween to me is just exceptionally
better.
