I watched as Max stabbed Kayla's father. I yelled at him, only to make him come after me. He tried hurting me, but I was quick. I found something to hit Max with. "Calm buddy." I said to him. It took Max a moment to realize what happened. He got upset by the fact he killed a few people. "I'm sorry." He said sounding sad.

I sighed and kneeled beside my father. I hugged him to me getting blood all over my shirt. I didn’t really care all I knew was that I found him and now he’s gone. I cried softly and hugged him tighter

Max sat up and looked at Kayla, feeling bad for what he done. If only there was a way to reverse time. Maybe he could if he asked the demon. But he needed to ask Kayla first. "Kayla...maybe I can reverse time... but I don't want to if you don't want me to." Max said. He looked at her with sad eyes.

[~Anubis~]

“It’s.... it’s fine....” I mumbled as I stood up and walked back to you. I hugged you tightly and whispered “I’ll never leave again I promise... it’s too self centered... now.... now I can’t loose you” I sighed and melted into your arms crying softly.

I hugged you back and picked you up. "Come on Max." I said to him and walked out of the place. When we started to head towards the city I told Max to make his horns and tail go away but he said he couldn't. "Why?" I asked him. He said that the demon told him that he can't make them disappear and that they are permanent , a side effect from using his powers. I sighed and had to set Kayla down so I could give Max my sweat shirt. Max put it on and put the hood over his head to cover up his horns. He also hid his tail in sweat shirt as well. As we walked through the town, some people gave us strange looks, but I didn't care. It took a while, but we arrived home. I went up to my room with Kayla still with me and set her on my bed. I sat on the bed and rubbed her back.

I sighed sadly. “I... I don’t think I can ever look at Max the same.... I won’t run away I promise I... damnit I’m just gonna say it... I love you to much to ever leave you again... and when I say that I mean it... I really real realllyyyy like you” I said blushing deeply.

I couldn’t say that I like her at the moment cause of the past couple of days. But I grinned at her. “It’s not really his fault. You know he didn’t mean to.” I said to her. I continued to rub her back. Max came into the room an hour later with a cake for Kayla. “I made it myself. It’s an apology cake.” Max said with a small smile. “I tried my best to make it good like you do.” He handed Kayla the cake and then left the room.

“Awww....” I said softly. I bit my lip and tested the cake for poison apparently it wasn’t so I decided to eat it. “Damn it’s good... you want some?” I asked sweetly.

I nodded and took a slice for myself and started to eat it. After some time it became night. I yawned and went to my bathroom to change before going over to my bed and going to sleep. There’s school tomorrow so I turned on my alarm and went to sleep.

I didn’t feel like going to school so I turned off my alarm and pulled covers over my head and fell asleep. I didn’t wake up in the morning to anyone else’s going off.
