alright so I woke up at 4:40 am so a bit earlier that expected lol but here are my thoughts as of now

I really didnt like idol, it kinda disappointed me idk
The rap verses weren't that great imo and the chorus was basic. I liked the bridge. Also lol @ the people thinking bts were going for something more traditional (including me) ik teasers are usually misleading but I think I liked the 40 second teaser better that the actual track.

I'm fine was good I thought. Love yourself answer was eh.

Out of the rap solos I liked seesaw and just dance.

Overall this is my least favorite love yourself comeback. But maybe I'll feel differently when I wake up and am not half dead. For now I'm going to sleep bye

it’s definitely different from all the other songs we got in the love yourself series but i think its refereshing ! its always nice to try out something else for a change.

im so in love with all the songs, the only thing that disappointed me on the track was trivia: love. it's my opinion please don't bash on me lol, i thought it could've been better but i still really love it, all of the songs on ly answer are such bops. i really liked idol and lmfaoo i have a video on jungkook twerking on the idol mv, idk why i always laugh at it lmao, he's so cute when he twerks

I don't like the song. It's my least favorite title track and MV of theirs overall.

Didn't listen to the full album yet, but I pulled up Euphoria full version and wow. Washed away my lingering feelings of disappointment.

*EDIT*: Serendipity full version is so beautiful. I feel content enough just replaying those two songs.

i just finished watching idol and honestly, i can't say i'm disappointed.
while this is typically the style of music that i hate the most, i don't hate the song.
it's pretty cool, but definitely not my favourite title track. fake love still takes that spot.
anyway, i'm giving the album a full listen right now:

euphoria: a shiver ran up my spine near the bridge. dAMN. 10/10
just dance: outSOLD. A BOP. BEAUTIFUL. THIS IS MY FAVOURITE SONG NOW ∞/10
serendipity: uhh second verse instrumentals wow ??? the bridge?? he straight up harmonizes with himself sLAP ME JIMIN 10/10
love: instrumentals wOW !! ALMOST BEATS JUST DANCE. I LOVE !! 12/10
seesaw: THIS SLAPS. wasn't expecting this to be as slow as it is in the beginning. i also didn't expect yoongi to sing. and he's AMAZING. the trivias are absolutely bomb. 11/10
epiphany (because i don't recall talking about it on this thread): i have to say that this is undoubtedly my favourite intro. it even beats boy meets evil which was my favourite previous to this. jin's voice is beautiful— that word isn't even good enough to describe it. jin outdid himself with this and it's so upsetting that people wouldn't stream the video. jin deserves so much and this song just had me undone the first time i listened. i cried for hours. jin isn't even close to being my bias but there's something called recognizing talent and it just radiates off that man. everything about epiphany is amazing. vocals, instrumentals, visuals in the video, the full length version brings me to tears AGAIN. i can't even rate this. i'm too low of a human being to rate it.
im fine: WOAH, SAVE ME. BUT FLIPPED. i can't say this is my favourite on the album or even my favourite overall because i was never that fond of save me. it's really energetic and could probably be my fight song or something lol. 7.5/10 for me??
idol: apparently features nicki minaj and her version will be released at some point. again, not my favourite title song but the video really means something despite that cg and seemingly random stuff. i interpret it as them being the stereotypical idols because k-pop has always been known for their weird and random videos. it's a different song with a stereotypical video to mock the system which is totally what bts would do. video plus the song: 10/10. the song itself: 9/10
answer: love myself: i think i can start loving myself now. but seriously?? this is an amazing song and i like that this is an 'answer' rather than an outro. truly a beautiful way to end off the LY series. 13/10
