past - creekshine


Creekstar, previously Creekshine, was a warrior of the "original
group" before the travel began. She spent her entire life with
the clan, and was always loyal to the warrior code. She wasn't
the most social at a younger age, but she was able to recognize
and talk to just about every cat in the group. Creekshine already
felt at a loss when one of the cats she grew up as an apprentice
with, RussetClaw, left the original clan after his mate was killed.
When the journey began, a lot more of her close friends died
within just a few moons. Creekshine also lost both of her
parents along the way, as well as her first apprentice to an eagle,
in which she got a permanent scar along her left flank. After the
previous leader and deputy were lost, she was one of the cats to
give suggestions and lead here and there where she could. She
has a bit of a hard time accepting new cats into the clan who
weren't clan-borne, so she didn't make too good of friends with
the felines that joined the group during their trip until they proved
their worth. She was furious when the group split into two, and
shows distrust towards ShadeClan as a whole, especially their leader.
Creekstar was granted her 9 lives after StarClan accepted her
leadership during a vision the night after the group split into two.

Creekstar has short but thick hair, long legs, & slender build. There
is extra fur along the back of her neck and shoulders, leaving the
impression of a mane. She has one long scar that runs down her left
flank, gained while on the journey. She is more of a thinker and
doesn't like to run head-first into actions, but isn't exactly your
stereotypical wise & quiet leader either. Creekstar is very loyal
to the warrior code, and still trusts starclan even after the hardships
they were put through. She is slightly aggressive towards ShadeClan
and its leader since the group split up, though she would refuse to
admit it.

She is especially compassionate to every cat that decided to join
CreekClan alongside her, as to her that means that they chose to stay
loyal to the way things were before, whether they knew what that was
or not. She struggles with change for this very reason, as all
she really wants is to bring things back to "normal".

future - tidepool

Tidepaw was born during the journey as a clan cat, and apprenticed
just before the cats reached the lake, so she doesn't know of
how/where the group lived before. She joined CreekClan by following
her parents and mentor with her brother Cloudpaw. She isn't the
strongest believer in some rules of the warrior code, but she will
follow them. She is very accepting of cats, and does like to gossip
some if it means she can hold a conversation. Her personality tends to
reflect her brother's, though she'll make sure to go out of her way to
tease him.

Tidepaw has long fur that fluffs out around her face, chest, and tail.
She is slightly below average size. While Tidepaw is a fun and bold
cat, she is very dependent and does easily get anxiety when on her
own. She is very sensitive about anything negative said to or about
her, even if it isn't shown. She would probably make good friends
with cats who can bounce back on her personality, though probably
needs a cat who is level-headed around her. Mentor or otherwise. But,
if some mischief is happening amongst the younger cats, she'll be sure
to be right in the center of it.

past - amber (rogue)

Amberthroat, previously Amber, used to live in the alleys of a
twolegplace. She was put out as a stray when her previous owners
left their home during a storm. Amber was an outdoor cat, so she
wasn't around when they called for her before packing up to leave.
That was a long time ago, though, and she hardly remembers them.
She joined the group of cats while they were passing through the
twolegplace, helping them through the towering buildings with the
other felines who came from cities. She stayed with them when
she found it was easier to thrive with a group. She doesn't show
much respect for the warrior code, but she will help out to keep
her place in the clan.
She is unsure if she believes in StarClan.

Amberthroat has medium thick fur and a stocky build. She has
multiple scars across her shoulders, and her right ear is torn. She is
a rather confident cat, and isn't afraid to speak her mind whether
or not her opinion is asked for. She is often protective of her
thoughts and those of her friends, and will argue until proven wrong
and then some, which could easily win her a few dislikes among
cats with different views. Amberthroat doesn't see the difference
between words and claws, and if she is left unwatched during an
argument that escalates too far, she won't hesitate to use the latter.
She is fairly independent, and takes pride in knowing she could take
care of herself if needed, but she has grown to like working with
other cats since joining the group. One more thing to note, is that
she will get very impatient with things that are left undecided. The
bigger that problem, the worse of she is about wanting a decision
made. This makes her one of the cats who likes to plan ahead.

If she takes a liking to another feline, she will best show it by
defending them in most ways possible. If another feline likes her,
their best move is to just sit and listen, as she almost always has
a real explanation behind every choice she makes, and just wants
to be heard over that stone facade.

Hunter's Crouch ↣ The first thing an apprentice learns, as the move is applicable to almost every other hunting technique. Keep your body low with your tail sticking straight behind, careful not to let it touch the ground and alert the prey, but also not sticking straight up in the air. Keep your paws tucked under yourself, hind legs ready for a leap. Spring when within distance. Becomes easier with practice.
Squirrel Race ↣ Try with a hunting crouch at first. If the squirrel manages to run up a tree to escape, you quickly run up the trunk beside it until you're fast enough to block it to the top of the tree. You chase it down next and hopefully catch it.
Mouse Stalker ↣ Drop into a low crouch, putting all your weight into your haunches. Keep your pawsteps light on the ground and try to slide them so the mouse won't their vibrations. Pounce.
Bird Stalker ↣ Used when a bird is in a tree. Silently climb the tree it is in on the opposite side, try to get on the branch above or below it, jump up or drop down and snag your claws in the birds' feathers. Bring it down with lots of pressure, and quickly bite it's neck. If you can't strike, disable it's wings.
Group Hunting ↣ Usually no more than 3 cats focused on one prey. One cat will be upwind of the prey and chase it, while the other feline(s) will wait downwind to pounce on it as it runs straight towards them.

Fishing Catch ↣ Sit beside the river, and make sure your reflection and shadow don't fall on the water. Once you spot a fish, dart your paw and swoop it out. Quickly bite its neck and keep away from the shore.
Diving ↣ Cats experienced with swimming will sometimes dive underwater and scoop out fish with their jaws if there are a lot of large fish in one place.
Rabbit Fishing ↣ Similar to hunting a fish, used when rabbits are in a hole. Find a rabbit hole and make sure a rabbit's in there. Then, wait silently until rabbit's head pops out. Scoop it out like you are fishing, and hopefully catch it.
Rabbit Hunting ↣ Used for when rabbits are out in the open. Since the rabbit smells you before they see you, Approach the rabbit in a low crouch while staying downwind. It's more common to have to chase the rabbit than successfully pounce on it, so be prepared for that and try to catch it before it finds its burrow. Chasing it into the tunnels is very dangerous, and only smaller experienced cats should attempt it if any at all.
Bird Leap ↣ When the bird is aware that it is being hunted and begins to fly up, you leap as high as you can and bat the bird back down.

personality
Alone most of the time, Timberfoot has never had many friends. His attitude
changes from the grumpy, annoyed anger that has driven so many people away
from him. He hates kits, and has made it his mission to avoid them at all costs,
the only exception being training his apprentice. He is usually quiet and makes
no effort to ta walk to the other cats. He never had a rough or tragic past, he
just doesn't like socializing with others or talking much. Timberfoot does have
some redeeming qualities, though. He is very noble and loyal. He will fight for
his clan until the death, and would never leave. He's very wise and others can
be sure he'll do his job, and do it right. He's very responsible, organized and
punctual. He works hard, fast and always does his best.

Timberfoot was born during Leafbare. He was named for his wood-colored fur
and darker facial markings. He had never really gotten along with the other
kits and usually kept to himself. During apprenticehood, things weren't very
different. His mentor was very impressed at how quickly Timberfoot improved
and how well he listened. His mentor would always tell him that he was wise
beyond his years, and would grow up to be a very wise cat. Timberfoot was,
and still is, pretty quick on his feet. He was the fastest out of all the others,
but he never bragged. His mentor always told him to be humble. On the day
of his ceremony, he was given the name "foot" because of his quick speed. He
has never found a mate, or really crushed on anyone, but things might change.
