Survival of the Packs

Turning to see Ace "I-I-I I'm just walking." She said trying to stay outta trouble.

Ace tilted his head, but stayed by her side. "You know, its not safe to be outside the camp at night. The Treny Pack can pick you off and kill you. They say they eat wolves." He said, seriously, but his eyes glittered with humor.

"I know" Ryuu replied "But I have forest smarts. I was a loner remember?" Ryuu asked, looking at Ace. "And rumors are rumors.." She added slowly.

Ace smiled. "Not all rumors are false. Some are true." He said looking at Ryuu. "Like love at first sight, and that the Treny Pack would kill any wolf of a diffrent pack. They don't kill pups though. They don''t allow weakness in their pack. They are night-walkers. They live their lives at night. There omega, could be an alpha if they wanted. Only the weak, sick, old, or not of their pack are killed."

Ryuu grew a smirk. "What does love have to with anything?" Ryuu said smartly. "Survival of the fittest.. Life has always been like that. The ones who survive are strong." She said slowly, looking to the sky.

[Call me Red]

Ace swung around till he faced Ryuu. "What does love have to do with anything?" He repeated. "Without love, there would no wolves at all. Without pups the wolf world would stop. When the living wolves died... wolves would be extinct." He said, looking at Ryuu.

Looking down at Ace, she frowned. "Fine, your right." Ryuu huffed. "You don't have to love someone to have pups." Ryuu added sadly.

Ace nodded. "But two wolves in love have the best pups. The pups can survive longer!" He said, turning around. He started to walk again.

"I guess." Ryuu said sadly. "My parents didn't love each other.." She sighed and cont. with her walk.

Ace turned around. "Well then. You just proved me wrong." He said, his eyes twinkling.
