Miles smiled nervously when the guy responded, then his shyness took over again and he froze up. He managed to stutter put a few words, though. "Ah, I'm Miles. W-What's your name?" he asked, looking down. He was somewhat regretting walking over: all he was doing was making a fool of himself. Why had he thought he could do this? He cursed himself inwardly.

Once Lucy walked in, she was absorbed in the crowd and nobody noticed her. She was fascinated by the number of people with powers like her. She took a tiny box of putty out of her purse and she started kneading it because she was nervous. She flew up to the roof of the floor and found another girl down below, hovering next to a boy that Lucy assumed was the girl’s brother, because they looked almost exactly the same. They were way different too though, but still, they looked similar. Lucy smiled, because finally she had found somebody like her. She brushed her long blonde bangs that were not cut for the last year, and flew down to the girl, hoping that finally she (Lucy) would have a friendship.

Kyra steps into the building, slipping into the group of people with ease. Who would've though it. So many people have powers, and a whole bunch of them are right here. I wonder what they can all do? She walks around, dodging anyone who's path she crosses. It would be incredibly embarrassing to knock herself out on the first day. As Shin stood there quietly he noticed how shy the boy actually was. Wow, he seemed so human to Shin. After that thought Shin started thinking if the boy is actually a human being, with some sort of abilities- but does not belong to a particular inhumane race, of course that was just an observation so he wasn't sure about that- and so he would not speak up about this. "Miles." He said under his breath, testing the name out- it sounded nice, it was a fairly simple, yet a nice name. "I am Shin, Kang Shin." He said as he looked the boy straight in the eyes with yet another weird half smile. " It is nice to meet you Miles." He said as he stretched his right hand out for a handshake- or whatever normal people do. Since he didn't have much interaction with other people of his age.
