There's an AR code that shows your secret id as your money amount which is what allowed me to soft reset for the right ids!

They already have side games coming out on switch called let's go pikachu and let's go Eevee. They look cool but not worth the 60$ price tag imo.

I'm still on the fence with those two. I want a Yellow remake since it was my first game I owned but Let's Go is just... Pokemon Go on the Switch. I kinda want it but at the same time it's still pretty disappointing.

I personally wouldnt get it. From what Ive heard there is no breeding, trading, random encounters, etc. For instance, me as a shiny competitive breeder, I wouldnt be able to do that anymore. (My most recent one is a modest 5IV HA female popplio)

I’m saving up for a switch just to get both games. Plus if you preorder you get Mew! I wouldn’t pass up that opportunity.

I mean it's a side game, not a main game. Most of the other side games doesn't have any of that either. It does look ridiculously easy even compared to normal Pokémon games though... plus it doesn't look like it will be a very long game with any after game content. I'd buy it if it was 30-40 dollars. I might get it used at some point if it drops down to that price range.

Im working on playing through yellow so that I can get to the point that I can encounter dittos. I wanna try out that shiny ditto glitch. If you dont know what it is, here is a site that explains how it works. Ive already been utilizing the Gen2 cloning glitch so that I start out with all 3 starters and have a higher chance of getting a shiny out of the odd egg.

I am doing a playthrough of Yellow as well. Trying to see how long it takes for Pikachu to like me. And considering I’m only in Pewter City...it May take a bit.

I did that to get a shiny ditto. I got a shiny charmander, totodile, vulpix, and two eevee using it. It's a smidge annoying doing it though because getting an egg/hatching it takes forever even when using the bike. But hey I can have a cool looking shiny umbreon with the move nightmare and a ninetails that knows curse! And yes I'm aware they aren't good moves on these Pokémon it's just for the aesthetic.

(Just want to point out this only works in gen 2. Breeding with a shiny doesn't affect your odds in any other gen)
