At first Athena was reluctant to touch the delicate ice rose, afraid her aura would melt the precious item. To her surprise, it didn't. Instinctively she lifted the rose to her nose, and it had the sweet scent of cinnamon and vanilla. She smiled.

"Thank you," Athena beamed, accepting the gift. It was very nice of him.

Shut up, I'm not even going there. Athena dismissed the thought. She looked at her giant suitcase which was on the verge of exploding from all her stuff.

"Alright, let's do this," Athena said, determined. She marched up to her suitcase, heaved it up onto the bed and tentatively unzipped the zipper by an inch. No clothes flying in her face. She zipped it all the way, and for a moment nothing happened. Then the clothes began falling out onto the floor until a small pile formed.

"Oops," Athena laughed.

What I didn't tell her was it took me eight years to learn how to intwine smells into my ice without adding it separately. I smiled brightly when the rose stayed in perfect shape and did not melt when Athena held it. Yet, a part of me could feel her holding back.

"So your packing skills are a little rusty." I said in amusement as all her clothes fell off the bed. Instinctively, I reached down to help her pick them up.
"So, any hobbies?"

emile's lips tugged up into a shy smile at azura's comment - which people would have been surprised to see on him, who was typically all devious smirks and fake grins. "eh, a few seconds of no oxygen won't hurt me." he shrugged, and added jokingly. "as long as i can use my powers on you."
"but not really, because i don't want you to die," rambled emile shortly after. he stepped back and prepared himself for yosef to steal his air.

Athena laughed.

"Yeah, I suppose they're a bit out of touch," she smiled. "Hobbies? Well, I like to paint, do arts and crafts, and sing. in fact..." Athena unhooked a guitar from her large suitcase and opened up the case. She started tuning, strumming a few chords.

"I'm a bit rusty, but," Athena's voice trailed. Her fingers started to strum on their own, and soon enough she was enveloped in the music. Then she started to sing. The melodies and notes intertwined as if they were destined for each other, spinning a story. Her fingers strummed the last chord, and she was quiet for a second.

"So, yeah," Athena finally said.

She was the product of a light elemental and one of the "special" people carrying the angelic gene, and when the offspring was born with beautiful wings and not just light element powers both parents were surprised. They learned that her healing abilities had been bolstered by her light elemental heritage and healing others didn't exhaust her as much as it may have other angels. However, she lacked the light elemental ability to control people of earthen elements. Her parents were always unsure of whether she could bring someone back from the dead and generally thought that she would probably die if she tried, but they couldn't know for sure. To avoid the unnecessary, and slightly unnerving, popularity that clung to most light elemental she trained until she had near perfect control of her light abilities at a pretty young age so she could pass as a normal angel.
General Descriptor for Hybrid-
An angel/light elemental hybrid appears to have inherited the angels wings and general healing ability, however this healing ability is boosted by light elemental's power and seems to not affect the hybrid as extremely as it would normal angels. They can also exhibit glowing like any other light elemental, but lack the ability to control earth elemental. While Light elementals usually have the ability to bring someone back to life, no one is sure if the hybrid could or if it would survive the process.

It'll be a piece of lovely decor." Ashley beamed as warmth surrounded her. The fiery Hell Hound heat was being released to help with the chilling current temperature of the dorm. Ashley leaped off of her bed and made a bubble. It froze over very quickly into beautiful patterns. It had taken a long time to find out how, but at one point, her powers were strong enough to make Never Melting Ice. That was what the bubble froze over with. She wasn't usually bubbly and energetic, but that how she was currently feeling.
