okay so,

you know when it's snowing and you can hear absolutely nothing? Except for the snow crunching under your feet??
it's because the snow absorbs most of the sound, so rather then it bouncing off the snow and hitting your ear drums, it absorbs the sound waves and causes everything to become much quieter.


I love that noise??
idk if it counts as a noise but it's honestly one of the coolest times to walk outside!
