She continued after the demon down the corridor, “Didn’t think a demon would put stock in something like prophecy or destiny”. Athena beamed, both figuratively and literally. The faint glow around her seemed to be getting brighter. The usually happened when she was happy. She always loved to meet new people! She laughed at the part where he joked about his inexpertise.

"Oh it's alright, " she reassured him. "I'm sure you're great at what you do. Anyways, I'm new here. Do you know where the dorms are?"

Ashlyn walked forward towards the school, her eyes already black, but not visible through her big sunglasses. She stood at a nearby tree, not wanting to go in yet. She looked at all of the people there, and their different powers.

Keith walked to the school gates, stopping, hoping someone would talk to him. He was bored, and wasn't exactly eager to go to the University. He looked around, seeing a few people talking. Keith didn't normally like talking to people, but he kinda didn't want to have this experience alone.

I started laughing and then looked at Lena. "Oh no, I just like turning people to the dark side. Being dark and evilis so much better than people that are all bubbly. Plus, I knew those Werejaguars that could control themselves. They were lots of fun."

After claiming a bed, Ashley sighed as she put Nautilus in his cage. She tossed him a treat she had made that muted him, so that he wouldn't make any noises. She hid the cage somewhere safe, where whoever her roommate was wouldn't find it. Afterward, she headed back out to the courtyard where everyone else seemed to be. She didn't know if they had classes on the first day of if they had that day to settle in, but either way,can wanted to make friends to talk with quickly. She saw many elements and creatures roaming, though few caught her eye to interact with. Reluctantly, she retired to a spot in the grass, where she layed, soaking up the sun for all it was worth. She could only hope that she could make a few friends, or maybe just one good one that day.

He could see many people had already made friends and acquaintances, and he hoped someone would approach him. After all, being somewhat late, he hadn't spoken to anyone, and knew literally no one.

"Gosh, thank you, you're a lifesaver!" Athena said in relief. She was as lost as she had been in that hedge maze she participated when she was 12, and she definitely overpacked, her suitcase weighing more than her. She gratefully handed over her suitcase to Kai.

"Alright, lets go!" She chirped, excited and a bit nervous for the journey ahead of her. Her glow was all over the place, magnifying into a shine rivalling the sun and then fading into a barely noticeable light. This mess perfectly represented the emotional rollercoaster she was going through right now. Her mind wandered to the darkest corner of her mind, the night of the car crash. Even though it had been years, she still hadn't gotten over her parents death... she winced at the though of that terrible memory. Athena shook her head. She had to remain calm, and finally managed to control her glow.

“I’ll take your word for it”, she said skeptically, “at least about my brethren, but I’m not quite sure I’m ready to ‘join the dark side’”. She almost sighed as she attempted to control the markings on her face and succeeded with the ones dusting her cheeks but the ones around her eyes refused to budge.

I grabbed the suitcase and maintained a steady face when I did. The bad was heavy but I did not dare to show that I had a small struggle when I first grabbed it. Athena walked ahead of me with a giant smile on her face and her glow was overpowering. Yet, the glow waivered and turned slightly dark and Athena seemed to slow her pace down some. " Hey, is everyth--" Right when I was going to ask, her glow came back even brighter. " That is quite beautiful," I said then blushed slightly. "Your glow."
