On the naming thing, I usually try to create a name in reference with either the breed, color, describtion or refference, but, as I grew surounded by 5 languages, for breeds I really love and collect, I give them multilingual names based on a world, like most of my CB and PB Gillded Bloodscales names means blood or bloody in some language and some are modified to sound better https://dragcave.net/group/61126

I think they're similar to ridgewings and dorsal dragons where you can get the alt form when bred with any dragon. I'm not sure though, but I did see a spynel x spynel pairing that produced an alt too.
