"Sounds tough," Kenna said, sitting on the bench next to him. "I wouldn't really know though, I don't have any siblings." she nodded in agreement to his comment about the crowded bar. "Same with me. I couldn't stand to be in there any longer, it was too crowded," she took another deep breath, enjoying the cool night air.

Cooper groaned. "Luuuuckyyy." He mumbled. "Yeah, I'd much rather be outside. I'm a lot more comfortable outdoors, and definitely not in places like bars." Turning to her as she sat down, he smiled and dipped his head at her. "I'm Cooper, by the way."

Kenna nodded in agreement. "Nice to meet you Cooper, I'm Kenna," she said, smiling. "I hope this doesn't sound rude, but what are you? Like, what species?" she asked curiously, always wondering what species new people where.

[Kodiak]

Cooper chuckled softly, leaning back against the back of the bench and folding his arms behind his head. "I'm a shape-shifter. I can shift to any animal as well as a few mythical creatures, like dragons." And unicorns. He added dully in his head, excluding his thoughts from Bailey. "So, what about you, Kenna? What species are you?" He turned his dark, saphire blue eyes to her, taking in her firey red hair and eyes he guessed her species or powers had something to do with fire.

"Uh! Excuse me!" Freddie shoved her way through the mass of intoxiated dancing people. She slunk over to a small table in the back hidden in the shadows and slid into a chair. Resting her chin on her palms, she squeezed her eyes tightly shut and tried to block out the noise. There was too much happening, too much noise and way too many people. She could already feel a headache coming on. Great. Just wonderful. She thought dryly, her head sinking down so it was resting on the table and her arms were wrapped over her head to plug her ears. But despite that, the music and shouting still drummed in her ears.

"Hm...are you a new student at Hector's school? I'm supposed to start tommorow. "Edward offered, bad at starting conversations but hopefully they could at least get something going. "I've ehard some pretty nast rumors about the place. What about you?"

"Well, I've got enough money to afford this school." Zarek pointed out. "Without any government help or whatever." And damn was that place expensive. "I should be able to get her soemthing good, but I don't want to buy her soemthing that would seem too...flamboyant. I mean, I don't want to spend too much money and make it seem like I'm all weird or something."

"It's a trick demons use. They put their "souls"," Thorn quoted the word carefully, since demons didn't actually HAVE souls, "into a weapon with the help of a warlock or witch. As long as the weapon isn't broken-which would mean it had to be snapped to at least three pieces and have it's magic removed by another witch or wizard-then they can't die. But, once you break the weapon they can be killed like any normal human. It might help, but most demons aren't stupid enough to risk that."

"It won't matter if they are." Urick poitned out, smiling birghtly. "After all, we're going to force them to spill the demon gang's intermost secrets, they'll be suspicious either way. Though I will quietly stand off to the side. All right then, Lucian." He glanced at the demon, who had gone back to downing as much alchohol as he could-probably testing to see if he could drink enough to actually get drunk-right after singing.

"How about something that's just simple and elegant?" Serdolan suggested, thinking about it. "Some piece of jewelry. Nothing too flamboyant, but pretty. Something she'd probably like. Aren't her eyes gray or something? Maybe something silver would look really nice." Yeah, it was weird that he noticed, but he just noticed things like that.

Eyebrows raised, Hecate realized that the soul of a demon in a sword wouldn't help them at all. Demons were technically on there side, as strange as that seemed. "Is there anything else that could help us whatsoever?" She wanted to use any bit of information that she could get, because she wanted to help the school.

Watching Lucian carefully, Lia turned back to Urick. "All right. Just make sure I don't die, all right? There's a lot I still want to do in my life." Then she walked over to Lucian, carrying herself like she usually did: like a royal. "Hey," she said to him, stopping right besides him. She was probably interrupting his drinking, but she didn't particularly care. "You're Lucian, right?" Might as well start the conversation somewhere.

"Okay...what kind of jewelry do girls like?" Zarek wondered, having never actually bought girl's neckalces or bracelets or anything. In fact, he usually only bought gifts for girl's like Rubis, who would prefer some sort of torture device(*exagerating*) to anythign sparkly. "You have got to help me man, I'm clueless." Stupid lack of a real relationship in...ever.

"Probably." Thorn shrugged, most of it was all magic anyway. "But nothing you could do. Like I said, it was mostly history on the school, artifact information, and spells. None of which would really help some pissed of lion fight a human." He glanced pointedly at Chase for some reason, since he thought that guy would really need the help. Yeah, he held a grudge after being stabbed in the stomach and ditched, while Chase completely forgot about him and walked of with Rubis.

Lucian turned around, noting Lia with a vague indifference. "Yeah, what the hell do you want?" Human girls weren't any big interest of his, not even for the whole soul thign. he'd stick with the supplements just fine-the only reason he really did attack a human was tyo goad the Rebellion or Steele members into attacking him.

[Veraway]

"For her, I'd probably get a necklace. Maybe something with a silver chain link." Serdolan ran a hand through his hair, thinking about it. "Her power is to tell the truth, right? Well, if there's somehow a symbol for truth, then get a necklace like that for her. If not, then maybe something that would mean something equally important to her. Does she like the moon? Sun? Just think about it." Serdolan rolled his eyes. It really wasn't that hard.

Catching Thorn's look at Chase, Hecate sighed. She was starting to expect people to not like him all that much. "What did he do to you?" she asked him, watching him carefully. It could be good for her to know, so that she could know more about his real personality. Somehow, she kept hearing these things about him that just really made her cringe.

Deciding just to get right to it, Lia crossed her arms over her chest and leaned her weight on one leg, letting her power flow from her to him. "Is Acton planning on betraying this school and joining the cops?" she asked Lucian, thinking of the most direct question and possibly the most useful.

"Uh...she likes poetry,the beach, nature's beauty..." Zarek trailed off, trying tot hink of something else. "She can cook, act, and we were joking about how we both can't sing. Um...I don't know, I haven't known her that long." He was running over possible jewelry in his mind. Maybe a kanji for honesty? But he wouldn't have an easy time finding one of those outside of Chinatown."She did like the moon too, but that would just look like a plate or something in necklace form."

"Well, before we became friends, I was walking with him and Shade through the halls. Chase pissed off Shade and vice versa, so I tried to stop their fight and Shade slashed my stomach. So instead of helping me to the infirmary Chase got annoyed with jess and walked off, then came back like a half horu later." Thorn explained, he still had scars from Shade's claws, since demon's were bad enough without the blody hands. Thanks to Chase bighting them in lion form. That had hurt like hell.

"If he is he didn't tell me." Lucian narrowed his eyes, giving her an angry look and baring his teeth. So far though he didn't notice the power very much, so urick whispered for Lia to try and pry some more information. "Why the hell would we bother teamign with the humans anyway?" Snapped the demon, watching them suspiciously.

[Veraway]

"You moron, there's the crescent moon. That doesn't look like a plate." Serdolan tried to think about what she would like. "What object is connected with you two right now? Something special?" Why was he helping Zarek? Maybe because someone was actually talking to him and not trying to kill him. That was a new thing for him. "Seems like you two are getting to know each other pretty well in just those two minutes."

Eyes wide at what Thorn said, Hecate shook her head, wondering how Chase could have ever done that. She had known that he could be cold... but like that? That was news to her. "What other things has he done like that? Who else has he hurt?" She knew he had killed his sister, but that was because of the shadow. It wasn't his fault. But that? That was all his fault. Suddenly, she seemed nervous, and she kept glancing over at Chase hesitantly.

"What exactly are his plans, everything that he's told you?" Lia asked Lucian, trying again. She knew he was getting suspicious, but she felt safe, especially with Urick standing close enough to her that he could save her in time. After all, that's what a knight was supposed to do, at least in her opinion.
