So I just joined FR today, and I really have no idea what I'm doing.

On the front page down in helpful links there's a new user guide that will explain the basics of the site.
Personally I'd say get started on a coliseum team as soon as you can. Coliseum grinding is one of the easiest ways to earn treasure; from either selling off the loot you get, or leveling up dragons to exalt for treasure. Exalting gets rid of a dragon, but depending on the level you've trained it to first, you can make a good deal of profit. A lot of people even have breeding pairs that are just for breeding dragons to level and exalt, often called fodder pairs.

A while back I got this stunning WC boy from Azuri, he just sat around my lair looking neat but I didn't really know what to do with him. Found him a mate not too long ago, and finally dressed her today lol.
