The outcast was about to open her mouth to speak when she was cut off by Alex's return. The blonde only remained silent as Indigo answered his question. And then came the subject of valentines, though before she could answer, Henry appeared. The girl only quirked a brow curiously at him, watching as Alex left the room with him. 'So much for conversations.' Alyssa's expression remained mostly neutral, but her jaw clenched, the only sign that she was becoming irritated by the events currently taking place. "...I wish I'd stayed home," Alyssa quietly spoke, finally answering Indigo's question now that everything had settled down some. With a soft sigh, she picked up her folder and began going through her music once more. "Everything's already getting pretty hectic for me, and I'd rather be at home with my dogs practicing these songs. Not to mention paranormal stuff freaks me out, so staying a supposedly haunted house is already making me nervous. I just hope the dance will make up for all of this..."

Freya shot a piercing glance to Jackson as he spoke, a wisp of visceral fury dancing dangerously behind the eyes, "Oh please, Jackson. It'd do you well to keep your whore mouth shut," she warned with a smile, tone sharpening. She knew the jock was a jokester and her words were unwarranted, but hey, he had it coming if he thought anything positive would've come from his idiotic remark.

Her composure unraveled slowly as tensions rose, and the outcast threw back a retort of her own, ridiculing the cheerleader's sport as she did. Freya bit back a snarl and chuckled, masking her brewing anger with a snide smirk. "What do you have against cheering? It's a rigorous competitive team-effort sport, and the fact that you refuse to see that due to your pitiful vendetta against anything you find remotely threatening, just shows how primitive and half-witted you are. What are you, twelve?" The blonde swung her legs over the edge of the bunk, pushed, and dropped herself to her feet. There was an incessant whine which strung at the back of her head, egging her to stop moving and just think for a moment, but she pushed any voices of rationale away.

Rationale had never been a strong suit of hers or anyone's in her family for that matter (clearly). Brute reasoning and violence seemed to run in her genetics. She resented herself for falling so easily in line with her emotions, and always returning to the screwed up toxic 'family legacy' which she's always fought so hard to be apart from.

"You don't even know me," Freya spat and dropped her smile, coming out from behind the dark-headed brat, "I'll throw much more than a pair of pom poms if you don't learn to shut your dirty mouth," she provoked, spites dripping from her tongue. "I thought you were a normie, a normal person-- not a fake, not a snake, not a troll, but someone respectably average and alright-- and this was despite all that crap some plastics on the squad spouted about you," Freya huffed, "But now I know all that garbage they said was true. You're faaar from normal, babe," she glowered, temper rapidly rising.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxShiro looked up to niall as the artist told him that Emily wanted him. The jock quickly rose to his feet- tucking his phone into his pocket as he made his way over. “knucklehead. Really?” He asked with a chuckle, though he’ll be fair to Niall, it was a pretty fitting nickname so some of the jock’s he knew.

Shiro sat kn the edge of Emily’s bed, raising his eyebrow at her, “do you need anything or did you just want my company?” He joked, a smile on his face as he leaned back on the bed, looking between niall and emily - waiting for some sort of response. His gaze snapped up to them as he remembered something “who have you guys got as your valentines?” He asked curiously.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxChase let her shoulders relax as the cheerleader turned her temper onto Jackson. Then she heard the blonde chuckle. Is this some sort of horror movie? Angry girl is now chuckling like some sadistic person - oh hell to the no. The outcast listened to her words as she spoke, the girl was seemingly quite protective over cheerleading. The brunette couldn’t help but stifle a snort as the girl pointed out that chase was seemingly threatened by the sport. “oh yes - I am very threatened by a sport that allows girls to do jumping jacks while reciting the alphabet - look at me, I’m shaking.” She responded, sarcasm dripping in her tone.

As the girl started speaking again, chase turned around as she noticed that the voice was now coming from behind her. The outcast had to admit, Freya was pretty much silent in her landing but that could be expected - she assumed that cheerleaders would have had to do some sort of gymnastics training similar to what chase did when she was free-running or kickboxing for that matter. - Bending your knees and landing lightly on the upper part of your feet was one of the few ways to be fast and not cripple yourself after a long jump down onto another platform. It was also a way to land almost silently so chase wasn’t suprised when the cheerleader managed to land with minimal noise.

Chase cocked an eyebrow as the cheerleader stated that she didn’t even know her. “I never said I did.” She stated in a challenging tone. Chase was fed up of sitting down whilst shortie ranted on. The outcast glanced to her second can and quickly downed the rest of it before setting it back down on the mattress and standing up herself. “oh will you now.” The brunette growled out. Chase stood a good few inches taller than the cheerleader, her hands curling into and out of fists - trying to contain her anger - as she listened to the blonde. When Freya partially explained how she was using the word ‘normie’ to not actually be an insult chase groaned inside. Well, there’s no going back now. “normal? Shortie, look around the room. No one here is normal - some of the things about being normal means rolling over and showing your belly whenever someone yells at you - actually listening to the rules.” She replied, “your right - I am not normal and I don’t think I ever want to be considered normal.” The hazel-eyed girl spat. Pausing for a few moments as she glared at the blonde cheer. “what’s the worst your gonna do, throw a hissy fit and set your pack of fake girls on me with their curling irons and freshly painted nails?”

A rupture of rage erupted at the base of her chest, and Freya was nearly at her peak. She bristled, skin radiating fury, "Seriously?" she asked, stepping up to confront the taller brunette. Chase towered over her by a few inches, but she wasn't fazed and had honestly dealt with bigger and worse. Violence was not a foreign resort. It was natural to her-- like instinct-- having grown around the crime-infested parts that she did. Though despite the broiling ferocity which screamed for her to lunge, jab, hook, she kept herself at bay, desperately fighting every fiber in her being to tame her brutality.
"You know nothing about me, and yet you're throwing accusations 'bout who I am and what I do," Freya held her chin high, jaw tight, and squared her shoulders-- instincts high on alert. "You'd be lucky if this was a high school chick flick and I was a sheltered prissy little girl," she snarled, clenching her fists to mirror the outcast's rage, "But I speak and fight for myself. Cheering's a past-time hobby sport, but I can assure you that you aren't the only one in this room who's thrown a cross and been incarcerated for it," she warned dangerously, speaking from experience. She let a growl rip from her throat, exhaling sharply, as she waited for what was to come next.

'Be the bigger person,' a faint voice of rationale piped from behind her ear, 'You're pathetic if you can't keep your fists down because of an angsty brat who's as troubled and blood-starved as you are,' the voice suddenly snapped, warping with malice and bitter self-loathing condemnation. Freya shut the voice from her head once and for all. As if backing down was an option.
She had been through this enough times to know where this was headed.
Either they were going to fight-- which wasn't going to end well for either of them-- or they were gonna have to be pried apart. Because either of them sure as hell weren't going to back away from a fight; they were both too stubborn and hot-headed to do that, Freya knew that much.

jackson winced at freya's words, his lips setting into a little frown. "that's hurtful..." he mumbled, backing away. he stood away from them, just watching silently as his heart recovered. it seemed everyone had something bad to say about him. finally, he realized this would quickly escalate into a physical fight if the girls weren't stopped. it was no longer entertaining, now it was just kinda scary and annoying.

slowly, the jock began shuffling up behind chase. he didn't want to get close to freya, and risk her hitting or kicking him- or digging her claws into him. he wasn't sure if she had those long freaky nails, but he wasn't willing to take the chance. "hi, so... yeah, i'm just gonna-" jackson suddenly scooped up chase from behind, then slung her over his shoulder like a bag. he cleared his throat as he began inching away towards the door, with chase over his shoulder of course. "good fight, good fight, but, uh, i think it's over now. you both win." he said, hoping that pulling chase away from the fight would prevent it from getting any worse.

"no, it- it's okay. i just thought you were a ghost." cassius replied, blushing. great, now she'd think he was a big scaredy cat. he was, but he didn't want anyone to know. he watched her pet peanut, as the sweet little bunny closed its eyes happily. "thanks. oh, i hope the people in my dorm don't mind." he said, a bit worried that they wouldn't want her in there. "well, she is potty trained..." he mumbled to himself, sighing. then he looked back up at ariella. "we should go inside, huh? what dorm are you in?"

↣ kian had instinctively tensed up, ready to jump in between freya and chase if he needed to. he was scared to intervene if he had to be honest, but it's not like he could let the two rip each other to pieces. as they moved to face each other, kian gasped and was about to get up, but jackson beat him to it.

a sigh of relief escaped him as he watched jackson lift chase and move towards the door. hopefully chase would just let him take her out without too much resistance. kian himself also got up and moved to freya. he lazily slung his arm over her shoulder, in case she decided to not let it go yet. "yeeah.. uhh, what do you say frey, could you help me umm.. unpack?" he must've sounded dumb and desperate, but it was better than a fight sparking. he gave jackson a look, hoping that the other jock would take chase out as soon as possible. kian couldn't help but think how they were in the same room for maybe ten minutes or less and things already got so bad. how would they survive the night?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxThe outcast’s muscles tensed completely as Freya started speaking again, her hazel eyes were guarded and she widened her stance; fully prepared to throw a punch at the blonde. Chase’s breathing had slowed, the outcast was listening to the cheerleader as she spoke but at each word the brunette was only getting angrier - her efforts to calm the rage inside her was futile and she rolled her right shoulder slowly, letting the muscles tense and untense as she tried to think rationally for once. The fact that Freya spoke the truth only made her anger worsen and chase could already feel herself on the edge of snapping. Was shortie seriously challenging her?

Chase struggled to think straight and many voices ran through her head. None of which she listened to. She had been told enough times that she was a scared little girl when she was younger that she was never going to back down from a fight. A physical fight between the two wouldn’t end well for anyone, she knew that , but chase would be damned if she backed off. As Freya wrapped up her little ‘speech’ Chase was already seething with anger, her knuckles turning white as she balled her hands into fists. The outcast looked to the ground for a moment before her right shoulder swiftly tilted back and her left one forward; she was about to throw a jab at the cheerleader - she could faintly hear someone speak from behind her - then she both of her arms were held back. Did someone just?

Before she knew it, she was hoisted up and over Jackson’s shoulder, too quickly to for her to even comprehend what was happening and to retaliate somehow. Chase decided not to put up a fight - it would be childish and she would most likely hurt herself in getting down from the jock’s shoulder. Instead she let out a deep breath “jackson, put me the hell down, now.” She growled, her voice steady but laced with anger as she itched to be back on solid ground so she could swing for the cheerleader. She could just about make out kian’s voice as the jock suggested that Freya should help him unpack. The outcast’s fists clenched as she evened out her breathing, waiting for some sort of response from the jock. “if you don’t mind, I’d like to show shortie her place.” She muttered, her tone quieter as she wrestled with the fury that was burning inside her.

"oh sorry for scaring you. i came down to explore, and boy is my dorm amazing. they are just so calm and cool. though i think the other dorms aren't doing as well." jesse said as she sat down, though she had only realized that she was practically bragging about how good her dorm was compared to the others. lily had already gotten her lists for both dorms and valentines. though, she only had really looked at the dorm one. she had then realized she was in a dorm with all boys, and then one girl. her. she sighed and quickly headed off to her dorm. she had only brought with her one bag, and all it had inside it was her sketchbook and clothes and other needed essentials. she walked into the large dorm and picked one of the bunk beds. it was the bottom one of the right most one.

lily had settled in rather nicely. she then unzipped her bag and pulled out her phone and some earbuds. lily then stuck in the earbuds and began to listen to some music, she then opened the dorm door up and began walking down the hallway with her hands in her pockets.

He cast Pierce's bag a brief glance. It was still moving around and making angry Chihuahua noises. He shook his head, then looked up at Alexis when she spoke. He opened his mouth to say that he'd only tried it three times before and it wasn't a big thing, but then she called him a babe. And just like that, it was a big thing. A charming smile broke out across his face and he looked back down, now using the bobby pin to fiddle with the knob. "Yeah, I can pick a couple locks," He responded nonchalantly. All he could really do ar this point, though, was hope and pray that he still remembered how to, otherwise he would look like a complete and utter fool in front of Alexis. He leaned forward to be able to see and hear better, jimmying with all the key points he could feel. Oh, God... this was taking longer than he thought it would... he heard Henry come by and speak to the two girls, but he couldn't break his focus to say hi to him... oh, no. He was going to look like a fool--
surprise!!!All of the sudden, just as Henry made his way past, something finally gave and the door was unlocked. Reagan just barely stopped himself from letting out a sigh of relief, standing up and handing the bobby pin back to Kyleigh. "Nothing to it, huh?" He grinned brightly, picking his and Pierce's bags up off the floor then holding the door open for the two girls. "I think Luci really did go and take a bath. Set your stuff down where she can't find it," he advised. Just over his shoulder, Pierce's bag growled and jumped up and down restlessly. He let out a soft sigh. Where was Pierce? Did he miss his dog at all? Because Reagan was not quite enjoying the animal's company at the moment.
