Hell, she has been gambling since she was twenty-one because of a friend that got her into it. Aiden wasn't much of a drinker nor a gambler, but he had set her up to a game with a few friends one night. That night was the night where she first started to gamble. She would set up a little 'bar' in her small apartment with a group of five to six people, including Aiden, every Saturday night and would play up until dawn, with Aiden being the first one out. It was all fun and games until her part started to die down and it would just be her and someone else, due to her friend working with his uncle. A few days later, Penelope received the call that Aiden was flying somewhere to go to a medic school with the help of his uncle and he wanted to see if she wanted to come with. And she did. But things didn't go according to plan as the plane had crashed on the remote island that they know of today. She tried to go with the first group, but she didn't want to leave Aiden behind. So she stayed. But Penelope and he started to drift apart as an argument erupted between them. Since then, they don't really talk to each other.

> She agrees with Zane's proposal. Not only because Aiden disagrees with it, its because she wants to go back and not want to live a life on the island. She wants to go back to the way things used to be, just her and a few gambling buddies and hope to see how much has changed whilst she was gone.
